Well well chickens I assume thats what you were chasing Smudgley for the other day. Your plants should be slug free now or is that a myth that chickens eat slugs.....? Are they going to have the run of the garden? make sure your coop is a fox free area....remember Smudgley's chickens. Best of luck where did your cousin get them from, fancy only keeping them 2 days........poor chucks... Oh just thought youll have to keep quiet about Hilary when DM comes back.... |

lol about Hillary! My cousin got them off of a friend of his who was moving, but he's really not a great animal lover, so I didn't think they would stay with him long. And yes it is what I was after Smudgley for They get out in the garden whenever we are out, and at night safely in their coop. It is a lot more sturdy now OH has fixed it up a bit, but still not great. He is going to sort it ASAP, but I have never seen or heard of foxes round my way, so fingers crossed they will be ok for a short while. I presume they eat slugs etc, they have certainly been having a good old munch on all sorts today. |
