My Cats

I'd like to introduce my lot

Domino
The reason why Domino has a shaved leg is because a few weeks ago she was shot & had to have an operation to have the pellet removed.

Shadow

Peppa

George

This is Tigger, he was Domino's brother. He was such a lovely cat, so funny too. Me & my daughters loved him so much. Sadly we lost him to a car accident last September, I still miss him so much.

Re: My Cats

Poor Domino - was this an on purpose shooting do you know, or an accident? So sorry to hear that Tigger is no longer with you, he looked a real sweetheart.

George is a cutiepie, isn't he? I love B&W cats.

Glad to hear that you have had Peppa spayed. I won't say what I think about Peppa and George's previous owners because that's not your fault.

Glad they are all with you now though - they look a happy bunch!

Re: My Cats

You have a lovely feline family there, Alison..

I hope Domino has recovered from the shooting incident, how anyone can do that to a cat or any animal is beyond me..

Re: My Cats

Thank you all for your comments I do love all my cats, they are all very friendly, although Shadow does tend to have an attitude at times

And yes Domino was shot on purpose I'm just glad I found her when I did, she'd been missing for a few days, I'd looked everywhere I could think of, eventually I found her hiding in the compost bin in my garden. She hadn't eaten in days, could hardly walk. Initially I thought she'd landed funny when jumping from the garden wall, but when I took her to the vets it was revealed she'd been shot at the top of her leg & the pellet had travelled further down. Luckily the operation wasn't too major & within a week she'd recovered & it hadn't put her off going outdoors, it's just me that's on edge now every time my cats go out.

Re: My Cats

I think that people who do that sort of thing to animals - well, I can't really say what I think of them. I try and take comfort to think that they will have to endure the same in their next life.
