Morning everyone, lovely sunny day here, just hope it lasts! Off to work in half an hour, it's the dreaded Friday, the day when I'm the only nurse so I'm not looking forward to it

Hi Liz and everyone,
It's certainly brighter here this morning.
Getting some washing done and catching up on the housework, it's been neglected as you can imagine. Posh is having a good old moan coz she can't go out the back and just mooch about. Two reasons, I can't afford time to stay out there with her, and secondly, left alone she'll wander off.
Quck update on mam; she had a good night, awaiting more tests today, then maybe news of a transfer.

Well its another gorgeous day here so everyone's outside apart from biscuit but she doesn't seem to bothered.
The dogs are ill so there off to the vets tomorrow oh the joy
Done all my cleaning etc then the meter man came and put a new meter in n made a right mess so i had to clean up again
Oh well the sun's shining so i dont care

Afternoon, all! The Glorious Fourth isn't too glorious weatherwise; had light drizzle earlier; and the forecast is still for t'storms this evening, which is not good for the fireworks display on the Mall...it's only 23 C now. Did the market run ; nothing special planned fr the holiday.

PL: hope all stays relatively quiet at work today
PP: good news about your mam!
Mags: I'm not a sports fan, didn't even know Wimbledon was on! I won't bother calling Carolyn this afternoon as she'll be watching...big tennis fan!

Afternoon all. It was overcast this morning but the afternoon was scorching. This was supposed to be a day off for me but got a call last night from a client asking me to look after her dog for a few hours this morning. Cannt really afford to turn down any work right now so ofcourse i went and took dear Zeke out then played with him in hte garden.
Did some food shopping then came home and sat in the garden for a bit with the cats. I have a lovely t-shirt tan will have to get the short fat and very white legs out next week I think
Just waiting for G to get home with the new pc and get it all up and running

The weekend beckons (great sigh of relief) We had a very nasty incident in school today - theft from a teacher. Such a shame, the pupil responsible is normally reliable, I think there was a fair bit of peer pressure, egging him on. Property returned but his reputation is damaged for the moment, I hope he learns from this.

Other than that it's been a fairly normal day at work, lots of loose ends to tie up before the end of term and a couple of cupboards for me to clear out still! On the home front OH has been trimming the conifers to keep them in check, we have such a tiny garden and we don't want to be overshadowed. It's been just the right day for him to do that, dry, not too warm and no wind to knock him off his ladder!
