Daily thread ~ SundayMorning everyone!  It's a typical English summer's day here, wet, cloudy and depressing..  oh for a good sunny spell! I feel sorry for those on holiday in the UK at the moment, especially in the south west, it can't be much fun having miserable weather day after day.. Having a quiet day today and will be spending the afternoon watching the Men's Final at Wimbledon ........it should be an excellent match....Federer v Nadal Hope the day is brighter in your part of the world, enjoy it!

Well I have popped home to get dry socks.....its pouring down here and I am working outside.......if th rain does not give over I may call it a day. And have some holiday hours............oh well back off to work se you later or sooner. |

A miserable day here too, wet and windy. I've got a nice bit of beef in the oven as I felt the need of a warming traditional Sunday lunch today, we don't normally bother with a roast during the Summer. I'm not much bothered by Wimbledon but I'll be watching the Grand Prix instead, a much more exhilarating sport! |

A truly miserable day, weather-wise. We were due to go to support an RGT event locally, but I just can't face it in the rain. Will probably go and see the new 'Narnia' movie instead. |

About to rain here soon. Popped out into the garden and tidyied up a bit, picked a nice little gem lettuce for lunch and some swish chard and 100's of pea pods. I will shell these later and pop them in the freezer. OH is away for the evening so I intend to make the most of it and relax and pamper myself  Have a great day everybody |

Hello everyone - it's pouring with rain here and was blowing a hoolie earlier, although that's subsided a bit. Merlin is having his celebratory Tea Party here on Catsey today. Everyone is invited to pop in - hope you will. The sun is shining there and it is a lovely warm day......... In case you don't know - Merlin is 22 years old this month and has just had a successful operation to remove a cyst. He is celebrating coming through the op OK; and also as a thank-you to all the wonderful support both of us have received from our Catsey aunties and friends. (I've posted it in Your Cat's Pictures .........) |

Hi Everyone! Lousy weather innit never mind, I'm going to the Tea Party in the sunshine with Merlin and Angie Mags, I feel sorry for the holidaymakers too. It's such a beautiful country when it's sunny and now ... well, I suppose that's why the grass is green here  |

horrible n wet here as well. its our towns 2 nd day of its festival today, think its gonna be a wash out, yesterday it was nice n sunny. bit blowy, but we went along. did well on the tombolas. i won a bottle of Calvin Klein perfume. not bad for a quid ronnie keeps looking out the bedroom winndow, sees the rain and shoots back in. so then he decided to ask to go out the back door. maybe he thinks its not raining that exit??? ive just done a huge pile of ironing. oh well thats all done for another week. have a good day all. |

Afternoon all, had a busy morning, started with the Airport run at 8.30am, got back at 10.30, up the vets with Murphy at 11.30, back to collect him at 1.30!!Now sitting having a coffee before I tackle the tidying up, dog walking and ironing... Who said Sunday was a day of rest!!!! |
