Six Kilos of Cat (and other pics!)By request, I've tried to get a few snaps of the boys that show off their impressive size. I weighed them for the first time the other day and discovered that Darcy is 5.8 Kilos and Stravinsky is 6 Kilos! (A stone each). Looking over the photos again it does look like they have a wee bit of a belly on them, but to be honest, I don't really notice it in person - and as I said, I purposely set out to capture their true size, so they're not exactly the most flattering shots  (Just don't tell them that! )Stravinsky and his Scratching Post This is a regular sized post, if that puts his size into perspective?  Minsky looking for a belly rub, or a play with Darcy?  Darcy Enjoying the Sunshine  A loonnnnggg shot of Darcy  Playtime Begins! Does anyone else's cat pull themselves round and round the scratching post with their front paws?  Minsky wants to play too...    If looks could kill...   And finally... Unrelated, but the expression on Darcy's face is priceless

Great pictures meep - thanks. I think the 2nd one of Minsky stretched out shows that he is not only a BIG cat, but a long-body too! And I love that last picture - Darcy being gorgeous. |

Thanks angieh  I'd agree, they are both really long cats, and seem to enjoy the fact as they both quite frequently let their back legs go floppy and pull themselves out on the carpet just by their front legs and continually do that for a while stretching - bless. |

Lovely pics of your two.. Cassie pulls herself around the scratching post like that as well ........unfortunately she also goes round the bottom of the furniture the same way if she's in a playful mood!  |
