The two 'holes' under the tail are further apart in male kittens than they are in female kittens. If you have both sexes in the litter then you wll find sexing them very much easier I'll find a previous thread with piccies for you. Queens can come in heat from about four weeks or so after delivering their kittens. This can occur earlier than this so it would be very wise to keep her indoors until you manage to get her speyed You can have her speyed as soon as the kittens are weaned and her milk has dried up fully HTH |

Something keeps buzzing in my brain from AGES AGO. Paul Gallico's Thomasina, I think it came from - in girls things are close together and with boys they are further apart. (Not sure if that's quoted correctly!) |

Hi TC, I'm glad that Moses is being a great mum and that all's going well for the babies. Have you posted any pics yet!?!?!?! I would definitely keep Moses inside for a good few weeks; the babies will need her and you don't want her getting into any more trouble! If she's a good mum she won't want to leave her babies for long anyway. |
