Mousie - Relapse - Prayers and Purrs please!

Hi All

Had Mousie at the vet yesterday as she was beginning to get a bit lethargic again and wasn't eating so well. Her steroids dose was decreased again about a month ago and it would seem that this latest decrease was too soon or too low for her as she is now getting anemic again (non-regenerative).

We've caught it quickly this time and her red cell, hemoglobin and hematocrit are just a little below normal ranges, but definately dropping again. Her steroids has now been increased again and we're back to square one! She's fighting and not ready to give up......she's a brave little kitty and been through so much and she is determined (as we are) to win this fight!

A relapse wasn't completely unexpected, just very disappointing as she was doing SO well, having gone from "should have been dead" (the vet's words) to normal range blood counts and lively and healthy.

The fight continues......purrs and prayers would be very much appreciated!

Tina
