Hello


Hello I am new to Catsey and have just been told about the site from a friend on Dogsey.

I have a grey, white and peach medium haired rescued cat called Meka. I got her in 2004 when she was 8 years old. She had just had to be shaved as she had never been combed . She was supposed to be scared of most things, including dogs, plastic bags etc etc.

That's the not the cat i know at all! She has been on many weekend trips to Somerset with me, happily sitting on the front seat of the car, she will lick and rub against a plastic bag for ages given the chance and she rules the roost over my 7 month old staffordshire bull terrier.

When i first got her i started clicker training with her and she can sit, lie down, wave her paw and touch her nose to a lolly pop stick when asked.

And here she is!

Hello Moli!

I got her quick didn't I!

Thank you - i think she's not bad for a moggie!

Your boy is beautiful! I was looking to get a a rescued siamese, burmese or a pair of kittens when i saw Meka....i always end with other people's cast offs!

You sure did get herer quick Be warned, you will join Catsey with one cat, and before you know it they increase....
I joined with 2, now have 5,2 Exotics, an Oriental, a Siamese, a white and ginger moggy, and a foster Siamese
Plus 2 Staffies, and a Boxer

Blimey! Much as i love Meka and think she is beautiful i don't think i would get a long haired cat again. She isn't that keen on being brushed, well apart from having her chin brushed! I suppoe it would have been different if i had had her as a kitten.
