Will someone be coming into your house to take care of her while you're on holiday?

Re: cass after her op

She should be OK. Try confining her to a single room where there is minimal chance of her getting stuck, say between furniture or under a bed. If you can pop home at lunchtimes to check up on her that'd be good too.
