Tuesday thread

9.30 am and no daily? Everyone must be having a qiuiet November day like me then? Or resting, ready for a marathon result-fest tonight. I see the first place to declare - Something Notch, NH, where they all vote at midnight - went 19 - 6 to Obabma, even though they're usually republican. Don't think we can draw too many inferences from that though.

Meep - on-line shopping. Makes xmas bearable! If I can't get it a)Here in Sleepytown, b)at 'specials', like xmas food-fests c)online, then it doesn't get got. Shopping - Ugh! Crowds - Ugh! Parking hell - Ugh!

I've just on-line shopped for some herbal tranks for Chester. He's def a bit twitchy since his (mis)adventure last week. Wonder where he went? Wonder what happened whislt he was missing? Anyway, here's hoping scullcap and valerian do the trick. I've got a Feliway going.

Have a good day all

Re: Tuesday thread

Morning DM and Yola and all
I'm skipping a few hours of work so thought I'd check in
Yesterdays headache was a bummer, it lasted all day but I controlled the pain with Panadol just had that fuzzy feeling. Then last night I was called out at 1:30 to a birth and got back to bed at 4:45! I took a Panadol again this morning (just in case) Claiming a few rest hours now.

I'll post some of my fav shopping sites for Meep. Did most of mine online last year, saved heaps.

hope Chester is calmer now DM. will have to get Feliway for Bonfire night methinks.

Re: Tuesday thread

Sorry to hear Chester's still a bit jumpy. It'd be nice if they could tell us about their (mis)adventures.

I've delivered a stroppy child to nursery and am currently wading through much of the usual daily rubbish that seems to be bombarding me. Sometimes I really wish for a nice 9-5 job where I would only have to worry about things directly within my remit.

Re: Tuesday thread

Hi, all! Up bright and early (well, early, anyway) to go to the polls; then having an early lunch and off to my annual eye doctor appointment. Dilated eyes, hate it; can barely focus on the computer screen when I get home. Pre-excuse any typos I make later this afternoon...

Poor Chester, if they could only talk to us.....

Will be a long night waiting for the Election results; may not stay up too late to get the West Coast results. Hope it's a landslide so I can get to bed knowing who won!

Enjoy the day!

Re: Tuesday thread

Hello all! It's been a good day for me, spent a good hour and a half in the gym and as I had the day off work I could go at a decent time so it wasn't mobbed. I've got a party in two weekends time, so my goal is to have legs worthy of showing off by then

Dylan Moran tonight!! In 3 1/2 hours to be precise. Cannot wait.

Thanks for advice on shopping DM In fact I spied a thread entitled something along the lines of 'meeps christmas shopping list' just before I clicked on the daily thread, so I'm away to check that out now....

Dm - hope Chester calms down a wee bit. I swear by herbal remedies.
Matron - get a good kip Hope Merlin is still as lovely as ever!

PP - hope the headache has eased off and you have a good headache free day
Yola - plan a time to stop tonight and have a relaxing evening, you deserve it by the sounds of it! Hope the wee one is a bit better this evening too.
Moli - hope you enjoyed the woodland walk, my idea of bliss!
Eileen - enjoy waiting for the election results! i'm pretty nervous about them myself, even though I rarely pay attention to UK politics let alone other countries! Hope the eye appointment went well too.

have a good evening all

Anyhow DM did you see in the paper at the weekend the "craze" for having catcams" little teeny weeny camera on your cats collar....most people said they were amazed where their cat went to when they though they rarely left the garden.Hope every one is well.Karen

Re: Tuesday thread

Back again with blurry vision. Eye doctor visit went as expected; do need a new prescription, which I'd assumed. Left eye vision is worse, nothing serious and will be corrected with new glasses. Oh, the joys of getting old!
