Daily Thread ~ Tuesday

Hello and welcome to Tuesday, a day of calm today in a week of chaos.
My shifts are all over the place, I don't know if I'm coming or going! I'm nights tonight, then off tomorrow then studying Thursday and morning shift Friday...
thank heavens I have a week off next week.
So plan for today; go over to the hospital to perform some baby exams for course and get them supervised ( box ticked) by a doctor, then to the library for books, then home to do shopping and house stuff then off to work!
Fall into bed tomorrow morning a complete wreck,

All flesh and fur family in good fettle here, and basically, getting on with it ! see you soon.

The monsoon is over for now and the sun is shining again. Thank goodness - we were all getting a bit of cabin fever yesterday, particularly my little outdoor boy Bentley.
An extra long walk with Dinah to make amends and a bit of general household stuff to do.
I will return to chat later, I hope. In the meantime I hope everyone has a good day

Morning all! Not in the most chipper of moods today, not sure why. Just a general grumbling cynicism. Got a team meeting this morning at work which will take up half the day and I've got far too much to get through. *grumble grumble*

Nothing else to report on! Here's hoping I perk up soon. I've been getting gloomier and gloomier as the days go by and i'm usually so upbeat!

The sun is shining beautifully here which is nice. We are all so desperately tired as last night we decided to start training Sebi to sleep in his own cot rather than waking and screaming to come down into bed with us. This resulted in wall-to-wall screaming and hysterics from 11.30 until 1.30 He did eventually settle. We'll probably have to do the same again tonight until he gets the message; boy was he cross!!

On a similar note, his parents evening meeting yesterday was a revelation. He (after the initial tantrum at my leaving him), settles beautifully, plays with the other children, is compliant and polite with the teachers, eats his food and is generally superbly well-behaved. So why is he a small demon-boy with us????

Domi's report as ever was excellent. Just a bit of a dreamer (like his Mummy )

All feeling a bit shattered here today. Pup Morgan is crated overnight and last night one of the cats decided to tease him knowing the dog couldn't strike back. We were woken up about 4 times between 4.30 and 6am with the dog barking and whining and the cat strolling past the crate looking all innocent!

The dog has been catching up on his sleep since breakfast and will probably wake up soon, ready to play. Have a good day everyone.

Afternoon, all. Sunny and very chilly here, only 6C!! Definitely not my weather; but still no frost in the City yet so the plants are outside still; always leave them out as long as possible. The house is so dry in the Winter with the heat on .... still picking basil and peppers, have one lonely tomato that's not going to make it...Meep, think the early dark may be depressing you...sun is setting before 5 pm now; all downhill till the Solstice. Just the usual day here, market run and putzing about.

Hi everyone

Dry and not too cold today. Work really busy just now - we have a big project coming up next week so its chaos until Friday.

Cali has decided to drop all her coat - hoovering twice a day.

Alfie had check up today and not to go back for 6 weeks, he also put on another 12ounces (hurrah).

Must do an ironing soon..............

Just enjoyed chinese take away - yum (bit of an oops from the diet)

dreary outside today. need to run errands but no gas in my car and no gas money.
been feeding BB more soup and his head bobbing has gone down. def gonna get that glucose checked on the first then.
preoccupying myself with sewing and slowly switching my boys soup to raw.. have ice cubes of cooked soup, partially cooked, and raw cubes. that's a lot of freezer bags. we so need an extra freezer.
mrsh: so know that innocent kitty look you mentioned, my cats would do the same.
caught up on sleep last night and starting the day late. doing regular chores then will sew and hide inside from the yuckiness outside, though we did get some sunshine later in the day yesterday.
off to clean six litter boxes..LOL.
