Guess How Much Is In The Bottle - For Charity!

(Not sure where to put this so if one of the Mods thinks it would be better placed elsewhere, please do move it!)

Kazz's thread about her £1.00 a day tin got me thinking, and I thought I would ask if anyone would be interested in the following idea .......

I have a large whisky bottle which is nearly completely full of small denomination coinage. My idea is if I posted a couple of photos and the dimensions of the bottle and asked people to guess how much it contained - the nearest guess would win the person 10% of the money donated to their chosen charity.

Obviously the more people who posted a guess - one per person - the more fun it would be. Perhaps the closing date for guesses would be 31st December.

Any further thoughts/views on this idea would be good and perhaps an indication of how many people would be interested in this small guessing game for charity.

I think that's a super idea! This will be an utterly wild guess.... 347 pounds?

Count me in!
Is it feasible to make an entry fee, by asking everyone to put (50p, £1, whatever) in a charity collection tin of their choice for each entry? That would have to be voluntary and everyone on their honour so to do but it is the season of goodwill and charitable giving and would recognise Angies charitable act too.

What a lovely idea. Also like the idea of a voluntary 'entry fee'.

OK - I'll get those photos done tomorrow and post them.

Those that wish to make a voluntary "entry fee" may do so by all means.
