As requested...snow picsOur first real snow today in WA state...now given it gets much worse than this later in the season but for now while it's tolerable and the first real snow of the season, I thought I'd get outside and take some pictures of our winter finally beginning.

Great pics, Tink; very picturesque and know the snow lovers will really like them! I'm just glad it's not here; makes it so difficult to get out. We've lucked out so far, no snow yet....maybe Sunday.??! Did Kuan Yin venture out; sure the oldies didn't! |

Thanks! No she didn't get out, she tried when I let the dogs out then caught a breeze and walked off on her own..LOL! She is spoiled and curled in a nice cozy bed right now. We're supposed to get a few hours of sun tomorrow but then it'll continue to rain and snow the next week (supposedly). I sure hope it doesn't get too bad for our four hour trip to the parents on Christmas morning..and then back home that evening to tend to the animals! *fingers crossed* Can you believe it got pitch dark about twenty minutes after i took these photos? |

Wow, REAL snow  Lucky you. We only get either very light dustings or soggy slush. They are super pictures . . . I suppose if you get snow like that every year you kind of get used to driving/shopping/working in it! |

LOL yola, this is my third winter here and i'm still not used to it. i'll have to take pics when we really get buried which i fear will be at some point soon! it's pretty to look at...till you go out in it and actually have to get things done..i actually put off wheeling in my trash can from the bottom of the driveway today up to the house because i didn't feel like falling on my bum in front of the neighbors...LOL! |

Lovely wintry scenes Tink, everything looks so pretty in the snow. We get nothing like that either here in the SW, always wish for a white Christmas but it never arrives...  Lovely to see your dogs enjoying themselves in it...  |
