Morning all, I had a 7am Airport run this morning, just back, its freezin' here, but sunny.....
Not much to do today, and most of our shops are still closed, may start my spring cleaning,get rid of some rubbish...

Hello Moli. We have a rubbish pick-up today, which is a relief after missing out last Fri (Boxing Day) and my OH is on a run to the tip with cardboard etc, which will turn into a run with Dinah at the very good dog field top of town near the recycling centre. It's not really a dog field, it's an everybody field but it is great as there is a metalled path all around.

So, a proper weekend to come and then we can all get back to normal. Decorations are down, that's it for another year!

I'm planning a long weekend in Stockholm for early August. We haven't been for several years so it will be nice to meet up with old friends again.

Good morning all, made a start to my new years resolution to stop putting things off by completing my essay. Now its all done and dusted ready to be submitted on the 8th, and I feel good! Hope this resolve sticks around,

Trying to use up all the naughty but nice stuff in the fridge/ freezer to make a fresh start on my eating habits by the w/e. I hate waste but its going to have to go, I'll be sharing it around friends and family but I know we're all in the same frame of mind!

Had a quiet NYD feeling cold and poorly but heaps better today, thanks to lemonade and paracetamol and just a little whiskey. OH very good, waited on me hand foot and finger... bless im.

Posh slept next to me all day, she sneezed on and off, seems to be catching!

Morning peeps. Another baltic day here. -3 and the hard frost hasn't melted in a week now. Its glorious but the animals wouldn't agree. Had 2 good nights sleep and feel I have caught up after the weeks of lack of sleep with the whole MIL saga.

Off to sainsburys with the girls in a moment for some odds and sods then off to see family later on and have a meal. Must try and be good and save my syns.
Off to MIL bungalow tonight to give it a good clean and airing.

Morning all. Forecast says sunshine but i cannt see any evidence of that yet, just looks wet and cold. Gonna head off in a minute, picking up Holly and my sister then going to get Toby and go for a walk.
Was palnning to wash the van but Pat said it's absolutely freexing out, so might not bother.
G is in a grumpy mood, so will have to busy myself around the house when i get back and keep out of his way

He's such a misery guts some times.

Hello all,
Day off again today which is great, really needed some time to sort out the flat after Christmas! Done most of the cleaning, just got to tackle the huge pile of laundry now, then might walk into town to do a bit of shopping.

Afternoon all, still very chilly here..

Didn't wake up until 8.45 this morning

....... had a great day with my family yesterday to end the holiday festivities. Played games with Katie and Jamie, had a good laugh with my daughter and SIL, ate far too much

and was worn out by bedtime!

Now to get the decorations down and get back to normal!

Day off today sorted out a few neuturing voucher calls and been to the bank and the shops not sure whats happenening out there but has a story broke that says "shops closing for a year" there were manic queues to get into Asda so much so I did not bother and lines of cars to get a parking space at my local sainbury's......ridiculous.

I brought what I needed and thats me done now till next week.

Took Sal out and we will be back out about 6ish.

Mom & Dad going to see The Glen Miller Band at Symphony Hall tonight.

Nothing else to say really. Apart from Good afternoon all.

And good afternoon also! Low grey clouds and a raw wind, wind chill -3! Did a market run with long wait for the bus; took down the outside decorations, and am just planning a lazy afternoon reading our book club selection (great, by the way!). I enjoy the holidays, but it is nice to get back to normal. No news here.
