calender / diary / both

... don't know why I thought of this question, but was just wondering if you keep a diary, or a calender, or a wall planner or an electronic diary or maybe even all of them to put your appointments in?

Don't have enough appointments, as I'm retired, to keep anything formal; just jot them on the wall calendar along with birthdays, anniversaries, etc. Do keep a sort of garden journal: weather, planting times, germination & blooming times, etc. In an old fashioned notebook; haven't gone electronic on that yet.

I've kept a diary for years and always keep the previous two years for reference. I also have a wall calendar on the kitchen wall for appointments, birthdays etc.

I think because I am controlled by my diary at work I tend not to use one at home.

I have a really good system here! (thank goodness for post it notes)

I have a calender up on the wall where OH and I write down our work rotas etc and a diary where I write birthdays and the animals flea/worm treatments etc. I'm so disorganised otherwise!
