Wednesday's Daily~ dark blue with a hint of promise!

Morning all!
Getting off to an early start here so wishing you all well for the day. Have long shift ahead of me and I hope to catch up with Catsey news later. Home life as per usual, no-one too sick or too healthy, trying to battle the clock as usual. Time goes too quickly

Can't wait for the w/e four days off ... bliss. Need to prepare for my hols in the States. And get some study done.

Have a good day all

A better looking day here too, so I hope to get a bit of that hint of promise! It was awful yesterday; the fog didn't lift until late afternoon, by which time the severe downpour had arrived! So disappointing after starting to smell spring in the air at the weekend.

Re: Wednesday's Daily~ dark blue with a hint of promise!

It's dark grey and drizzly here, which is a tad better than the over-night dowpours that woke me up! All's well here. Dominik is still behaving very strangely - he's now refusing to eat the bread that he's had since he was weaned (burgen and soya wholemeal)
Bad news here is that they found the body of a 15 year old boy that they'd been searching for since early January. Found in a river lock not that far from me. So very, very sad.

Apart from that it's business as usual . . . need to chase the delivery of my shed at some point!

Snap it was exactly the same here as it was there yesterday, looks a bit brighter here today so fingers crossed the sunshine may come out .

Yola must be upsetting a body being found so close to home , do they know what happened to him yet?
Hope your shed is on its way are they putting up for you or is it a job that you will have to do?

Leesy - the shed is going in my new allotment and they will be erecting it for us! I have to buy slabs for the base before the shed arrives which is why I'm trying to 'get ducks in order'!

About the young lad - not sure, they suspect he might have been messing around on the frozen river/canal surface as in early Jan it was so cold that some of the waterways here froze. Not strongly enough to support a 15 year old boy though. It is a real tragedy.

No sign of brightness here, just solid cloud...
We had some heavy rain through the night, I was up until 5ish unable to sleep..

Cassie is alseep, she's not interested in going out this weather... I had a little smile about my daughter's cat, Mia. She was spayed a couple of week's ago and now they are trying to introduce her to the big outdoors. The poor little soul appears terrified, she almost slithers back indoors on her tummy....awww! I'm sure things will change later when the warmer weather comes and the insects are flying around.....they won't be able to keep her in then!

It was foggy here this morning, all clear now apart from the sky, can see a few blue bits.

Went to work this morn then called into wetherspoons for my dinner with my mum.
Going to the pictures tonight with my bf to see 'My Bloody Valentine - 3D.'
Anyone seen it?

A grey day here, drizzle, yuck!

Went to P@H earlier today, they've still got JWB on a 3 for 2 offer, so I stocked up, the kitties will not starve! bought enough to last ages!

Morgan pup (now 7 months) needed new toys as he'd chewed all his others! I thought I bought really tough ones today but within an hour and a half of getting home he'd inflicted serious damage on them all, except for the extra-strong Nylabone which he is ignoring! I had hoped all the chewing would reduce when the teething stopped (he chews vetbed too!)

The cats are much more delicate and respectful of their toys which last for ever.
