Catsey meet.

Now I know this is going to be a hard one because everyone lives so far away from each other and that doesn't include DM or Tink or HappyKatz.

I was wondering if we could organise some mini meet ups? say a northern meet up, a middle meet up and a southern meet? It would be great to put some faces to names etc in the flesh.

What about a meet up for those who live midlands/north west area in say May when the weather improves? Maybe Cheshire for a luncheon date.

Can people give me some feedback to what they think? I'm happy to organise

Re: Catsey meet.

we've tried this before & it never goes to plan
We were all up for doing a weekend camping a while ago, but that didn't go ahead. Then we arranged to get together at the Cat Show in Birmingham, but that didn't exactly go to plan in the end either.

I'm all up for a meet though.

Re: Catsey meet.

LOL yes, camping (Smudgely's idea ). I think we were looking at mobile home-type affair rather than tent and somewhere around Telford/Bridgenorth if my memory serves me well. I even made an enquiry but was told they were fully booked

I've only met Karen (briefly when she dropped Myshka off with me at a service station) and I've spoken with Jac several times on the phone but that's it.

I would love to meet more bods from here if at all possible!

Re: Catsey meet.

I suspect the nearest person to me is probably Mrs H. Don't think there is anyone else living in the Emsworth/Chichester area?

No Angie, I don't live there, but visit often. Chichester is the usual destination for lunch as Hayling Island food-wise is atrocious! MrsH isn't that far from me either . . . North Hants I think (we shared a thunderstorm once )

Meep - if you're ever down this way just shout

I think you would enjoy Fat Olives in Emsworth - they do open at lunch times. Here's their website -

Re: Catsey meet.

Collectively win the lotto - then we could choose somewhere lovely and rent a villa!
