Sunny Tuesday

Hey,

Its really sunny here, had some hailstone in the middle of the night. Was 1c when I went out at 5.45am this morn, its about 3c now.

Not got much planned for today really, my mates coming round after I think.

Oh and I broke my car radio today, there's a piece what you can take out which I always do and for the past week I've noticed one end of the radio wasn't clicking when I put it in and now it wont, so I've had to stick my Green Flag card in the broken end so it stays in lol (I thought the card would come in handy at some point other than breaking down lol!!!)

Have a nice day everyone.

Re: Sunny Tuesday

Still plagued by sore throat and bad cough at the moment but the almighty headache that I had yesterday has passed. I had to pick Sebi up at lunchtime as he was running a temperature of 39! True to form, I got him home and he bounced back and seemed to be right as rain again. It was me kipping on the sofa under his blanket instead!

He's fine this morning and back at school. It's sunny here with occasional snow flurries but nothing much to speak of. OH's in London for a client meeting and I'm just trying to get through as much stuff as I can.

Hopefully catch you later when the to-do list gets a bit shorter!!

Re: Sunny Tuesday

Lovely and sunny here, but so much colder. The snow that's left has frozen making it a bit treacherously slippy, but it beats wind and rain anyday!

Got another belly dance class tonight, although I'm feel so bloated (that time of the month) and can't stop eating cake and pizza and other unhealthy things Here's hoping I can manage a figure of 8 or two!

Otherwise normal day here. Focusing a lot of career options at the moment, training and the like. It's all a bit daunting but exciting!

Yola, glad to hear you're a bit better than yesterday!

Re: Sunny Tuesday

Sunshine! White stuff all gone! Dry roads!
It was an absolute delight to get back to normal and have a lovely walk in the sunshine this morning. It's hardly balmy but nevertheless ....
And I've sown/planted up a couple of things so I'm beginning to think Spring might be round the corner. I think maybe I should have whispered that ... I have mentioned it before and obviously now regret it
Everyone try to get some fresh air today and banish those bugs and minimise the winter blues. Hope your day goes well

Re: Sunny Tuesday

All last night's snow has disappeared ......so has the earlier sunshine this morning.. It'll be so nice to get some washing blowing on the line once again!

Was chatting to my next door neighbour earlier, they've just got back from their holiday in Madeira.......one week late!! They were due home on 1st Feb but because the weather has been so bad everywhere they were unable to get a flight. However, their travel agent arranged for them to have an extra week in Madeira at a different hotel, free board! So they were happy!

Hope all the poorly peeps feel better soon...

Re: Sunny Tuesday

The sky is blue and the sun is shining - hoorah!

Flooding has been dreadful down on the south coast - Worthing Hospital is having to be pumped out, there has been flooding in Pagham and Selsey. The Fire Brigade had hundreds of calls last night it was reported on the news this morning. The only thing that happened here was that our water but blew over - it must have been full of water, so no idea how that happened, but it is on the corner so in a windy place. OH has righted it, but I bet the tap will have comes loose and be leaking, but we'll see to that later.

I am off out in a while to go to Sainsbury's to buy Merlin some more of the food he likes as I only have one tray left!

Sorry to hear it is still so very very cold in Aberdeen. I am still hoping that Elaine is OK. Has anyone heard from her - Moli???

Hope you all manage to enjoy the sunshine.

Re: Sunny Tuesday

No sunshine here, cloudy but still mild, 8 degrees now and will make 11 later, they say; not complaining! Did the usual Whole Foods run. Leia decided the minced turkey Fancy Feast was an acceptable substitute for the out of stock minced chicken, thank goodness; she is SUCH a picky puss.

Glad to hear the weather seems a bit better for most; poor Liz! I too wonder how Elaine is doing; hope she can get home soon for Eva, and to send Matt her pic for the calendar.

Stay warm enjoy the sun while it's here!

Re: Sunny Tuesday

Hello, all. Cloudy and overcast today..temp is just above freezing and anticipating a slight snow mist.
Meep, we are in the same boat and my hormones are calling for all sweet and salty things..trying very hard to control myself as I don't get much exercise besides house cleaning and am watching what I eat for my waistline but very hard this week, if you know what I mean.
A bit nippy in the house, may treat myself to a nice steaming bath before I get going for the day.
Had a nice lie in and am feeling quite slow and behind on chores..will just be a nice day inside.
Hope everyone had a great day!
