Morning all, it's a lovely day here....sunny and crisp

Popping into town shortly for a few odds and ends, then calling into a Garden Centre to see what's on offer.

The sun is shinning but it's cold. Am off to walk Toby in a wee bit. Erin is coming up this afternoon so I expect that means that alcohol will be consumed later today.

Weather not to bad here its nice and crisp and looks like the sun will be out soon, just bobbing out to get some bits for tonight OH is cooking a "Romantic" meal tonight for 2, he is a good cook so it should taste luvvvvvvly.

Happy Valentine's Day everyone!

Contrary to all expectations, I received a lovely card and a naughty box of chocs - but my OH denies all knowledge

I don't believe that I have a secret admirer. OH says it's a secret squirrel (please don't tell dandysmom!). Some of you MIGHT remember SS on the tv - a long, long time ago!!

Cup of coffee and a biscuit in bed .. that's fine by me though.

We have asparagus and rib eye steaks for supper - as someone said yesterday, the thought of a 'manufactured' Valentine's meal out does not appeal, though some of the menus, finishing with some sort of chocolate indulgence, sound lovely.
It's a beautiful day and the forecast is hopeful at least - the temperature may be up to 11C by midweek, no rain forecast and no night frosts. Hurrah.
No sign of Bentley's friend the frog this morning, so I hope he's found a nice big stone to hide under and avoid my intrepid hunter bringing him in again.

I didn't get anything for valentines, apart from Dylan's chatter all the way to the vets (another thread) and a snuggle from him before we set off (also got shouted at by Dylan because he wanted FOOD!)

Happy Valentines Day!

Partial sun and a bit more seasonal, 4 degrees. Did the usual Saturday library run and got a nice surprise when I stopped in the liquor store for gin: they had a large bucket of beautiful long stemmed roses, one to a customer, so I have a lovely pink rose in a bud vase by the computer! Carolyn's coming over this afternoon so we'll have a nice visit. No other news.
