Neutral Sunday

Hello - dry and calm here, no frost but not terribly warm yet. Higher temperatures forecast for later but probably no sun today - we must have had our ration yesterday.
OH was up early to et the train to London for the day, so I'm left to amuse myself till supper time. Might do a bit of pottering round the garden.
Hoping that your day is good - exciting if you want excitement and calm and peaceful if that's what you crave

Re: Neutral Sunday

A relaxing day in store, I hope, nothing planned at all. I expect that at some point the Sunday papers will get read from cover to cover and the crosswords done. The throws on the sofa and chairs need a darned good shake outside, we're suffering an explosion in loose animal hair!! That's as much effort as I intend to make today.

Hope you all have an equally relaxing day.

Re: Neutral Sunday

Calm and peaceful here; sunny but brisk, only 3 degrees and wind chill -2. The whole week is supposed to be like this; I miss our brief warmup. Bad news yesterday, have a leaking water pipe in the basement, so am awaiting the plumber ((again!!) Monday. First the boiler, now a broken pipe...wonder what the third calamity will be??
Had a lovely visit with Carolyn yesterday;she was amused that Leia was sleeping so soundly that she was snoring! But made her sad thinking of Kate....

Hope the sun shines on all, have a lovely day!

Re: Neutral Sunday

Been a damp day here.

I've have spent most of the day gutting the bedroom. I have filled numerous charity bags and recycling bags and feel great that a task I've been putting off is now completed.

Opened the window for some air and Alfie decided to go out for a wander - followed by Kinsi!

Ran out with the camera and took some pics of them.

Just about to sit down for surprise dinner - OH making and I'm banned from kitchen.

Cali not well, been very sick all day. No tea for her tonight and we'll see how shis in the morning.

Enjoy the rest of the day peeps.

Re: Neutral Sunday

Oh Eileen I'm sorry to hear about the pipe! And I sincerely hope there's NOT a third calamity!

Lazy today..will just putter around and maybe run an errand to at least pick up some free newspapers for the boys' litter box area (they sometimes miss and i surround it with papers).
OH just woke up, have no idea what he has planned for the day. We ran most of our errands yesterday so we could possibly go out or just stay in and lay around, LOL!

Re: Neutral Sunday

If it's as nippy there as it is here I'd just stay in and lay around, that's what I'm doing. Yes, very annoyed at the pipe, and hope that there isn't anything else, but they do tend to come in threes ...... hmmm, just thought: the old upstairs TV died last month, maybe that would count????

Re: Neutral Sunday

I agree with CM !!

Actually it's beautiful here right now. The sun's out and there's a nice refreshing breeze. I sat in the ferret room with the furkids and opened the window and breathed it in while they played..they liked it too!
