What else do you do as a hobby?angieh's post about family history got me thinking about what other hobbies/interests and pastimes we have. Thought it would be good to see what else we have in common. so, in no particular order
and of course just being with my cats, dogs, sheep and horse.  What do you all get up to?

Erm not a lot really! In my spare time I just come on the computer looking at Youtube (you can get sooo carried away on that site!) and [Sys edit: Contains pet forums] etc or play on my Nintendo DS or computer games lol. You wouldnt think I was 25, I act more like a teen lol. |

What an excellent idea for a thread! I'd pick reading as number one, gardening as second .....I'm interested in iris hybridizing .... can't say photography as I just really do cat pics and flower shots in a very amateur and unskilled way. Quite a few years back I'd have added needlepoint and crewel embroidery have let that lapse since I've gotten on line. Too much to do, so little time! |

I don't do much really, I'm usually busy keeping the sofa warm! crosswords sudoku dog walking gardening cross-stitch, sewing, crochet (but the RA tends to limit how much I can do) family tree (but not so much lately) reading |

A great post! I find myself with not much spare time but I guess my hobbies are: - Going to the gym / getting fit - Dancing (Samba, Salsa, Latin, Belly Dance. Soon to be Ballet). - Reading! Lots of reading. (An English Lit. graduate!) - I hate to say it, but shopping. Not in a consumerist way but I do enjoy scouring shops for good bargains and love creating my own eclectic style (not a dedicated follower of fashion.) - The cats! but of course. - I would like to say painting and writing, as these are things I'm good at and enjoy but really rarely have time for. - Guitar playing. - Piano playing. Although only when at home with my dad where my piano is! |

What a great idea for a thread...in no particular order at all 1. Computer (pleasure only ie catsey dogsey) 2. Gardening... 3. Dog walking... 4. PAT dog visiting hospices etc with Sal. 5. CP ie The Neuturing vouchers....is that a hobby mabe more like a lifes work  6. Dog agility....(must get back into that) 7. Archery.....going to that again in the Summer. 6. Taking up fencing...yes sword fighting...  7. Walking, usually with the dog. 8. Short story writing....has anyone seen the site fanfiction... 9. Tropical Fish keeping....changing back to Mollies soon. 10. Reading. 11. Decorating...house that is . 12. Cooking (DM I hope thats a hobby) 13. TV..varying sorts. 14. I know this sounds sad but considering taking up Golf. |
