We had a powercutLast night all the power went off at about 8pm. I looked outside & it looked like the world had ended, it was a big powercut and we were in darkness for just over an hour. It was a bit inconvenient, but quite exciting really  Wind up torches came in very handy.

We had a power cut about 3 weeks ago...surprising how many people come out to chat isn't it. Make sure eveyrone else is safe...etc |

Used to happen here all the time in the Summer when too many people were using A/Cs, but the Power company put in a new transformer. Now it only happens in bad storms when trees come down on the power lines. I keep plenty of candles and an old oil lamp (my grandma's!) handy! Glad yours didn't last too long. Smudgley. |
