I need some help with ideas - Silver Wedding!My OH and I will celebrate our Silver Wedding Anniversary in April this year. I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT TO GET HIM! Please help - any suggestions welcome !!! We won't be going away; we may go out for lunch (may or may not include MIL). OH is 56 and likes golf and model making. He likes music and film but is not a lover of books  He has recently become interested, as have I, in family history. He is the least mercenary of men and does not want clothes, jewellery, things of that nature. He does not love the garden - mows the lawn because it has to be done.The present could be a joint one.

Is he ok with heights? Gliding experience We sorted one for OH sister , she loved it. you can save money and organise it your self with a local gliding school. Much cheaper than doing it on-line with an experience day site. |

Thanks for that idea Matt - always like to get ideas for presents from other chaps. Unfortunately OH wouldn't fit in a glider - he's 6ft 6ins tall and of large build! |

My OH always liked pendulum clocks so that's what I bought him for our Silver Wedding, then I could enjoy it as well....  This is similar to the one gave him.. |
