Pleasant Valley Sunday :)

What a lovely day today. The wind and rain blew in this sunny morning and the sky is blue dotted with fluffy clouds, but OH said its still a bit nippy. My daffs are brilliant yellow and cheering me up no end. Spring green buds on the silver birches by the road are a good sign

Off to work this afternoon so having a roast lunch at home today. Me and OH have been wed 23 years today, quite an achievement for me, but hats of to him, its his second time, and it shows that hope triumphs over disaster

Not much other news here, furkids fit and healthy, humans keeping the peace!

Still fingers x'd for DM and Chester. Angie, how's Merlin now?

Have a laaazzzy, Sunday if ya can

Re: Pleasant Valley Sunday :)

Sunday daily

Morning all. I haven't been on Catsey much this week, I have had a very busy week. Today I will be taking / loading cat photos for you all, but first I have to visit a new CP volunteer (but not really new as she used to be a volunteer years ago, before I started) so I am hopefull she will be a good help to us.

Lucy had a friend sleep-over (again) last night, so will drop her off home shortly.

Then this afternoon I MUST do some housework, the housework & shopping seems to keep getting put to the bottom of the to-do list whilst the CP work is taking over again.... not good. Must reign in a little!

Have a good day everyone.

Morning! It's sunny but nippy here - long may it last. We're off to the allotment soon to finish our 3 large raised beds. I have to run now and get some more wood whilst OH bleeds the radiators and changes some tricky light bulbs.

Roast pork for dinner tonight

Happy anniversary Nette - I hope you and OH have a lovely day today!

Happy anniversary PP! Have a lovely day!
Cold and wet in this part of Wales, so much for my pile of laundry I was hoping to get outside.
Woken up today by the sounds of another lambing, triplets this time! It's really getting busy now.
Spending my Sunday recovering from another crazy week at work, have a lovely day everyone.
Lx

The sunny day didn't last its raining sleety hail stuff now.
Lovely to hear about the lamb triplets being born PL ( trying not to think about the chump chops I'm roasting ) Smudgley, you are a busy lass, slacken up a bit, you do a good job!
Thanks for the WA wishes, 23 years has flown by. Scary thought!

Re: Pleasant Valley Sunday :)

Hi everyone. Happy Anniversary PP and PP's OH!

It was beautiful earlier this morning, but we've had one shower with gusty wind and a bit of sleet, but it seems to be cheering up a bit now. Looks like we are going to get a few unsettled days but should get warmer mid-week, according to the Countryfile weather.

Have to say that Merlin seems less well this morning. I think we are in a downward spiral really and I will probably have to phone the vet tomorrow - I'll see how he is in the morning. He is still eating but not as well as the last few days.

I am trying to keep busy - sorting through stuff to start my scrapbooking! Thought I'd get all the stuff together and see what I can do with it first. It's been fun looking through all the old photos and stuff, but there's loads of leaflets and tickets in a plastic wallet that I haven't found yet - probably got put somewhere safe while we were decorating. Keep hunting!

Have a good day everyone.

Re: Pleasant Valley Sunday :)

Happy Anniversary, PP!

Cloudy but still unseasonably mild here, 19 degrees before lunch; went to the market without wool hat, muffler and fur lined boots! And saw a blue jay while waiting for the bus! Used to be very common, but were really decimated by West Nile virus; first I've seen in ages, hope they're making a comeback. Lovely birds.

We changed to Daylight Saving time last night, so until you change I'm only 4 hours behind!

Had intended having a broiled crab cake at dinner, but annoyingly, they were out of them! So will be swordfish and fresh spinach. Snowdrops in full bloom.
That's all my exciting news,

so, enjoy the day, hope the sun comes out later for you!
