hi, Welcome to Catsey. I am the Welfare and Fostering Officer for my local CP. Would be interested to learn more about how the RSPCA works. I gather the branches are run differently to the large rescue centres? Would love to see some photos of your cats & kittens. |

Thank you Mags, I will get some pics of my bunch on in the morning! Smudgley- Our branch of the RSPCA works very similar to Cats Protection and we all work together. In fact I currently have two cats under the care of Cats Protection in one of my foster homes as their cattery is full. The main difference between our branch and the main branches is that we don't use a cattery. All cats in our care are placed in foster homes with volunteers who agree to care for the cat until it is re-homed. Not only does it save us a lot of boarding fee's but it's much better for the cats as they are well socialised. We are an independant branch which means we have no goverment funds but we manage on the kind support of our volunteers and the donations from the local community. What branch of Cats Protection do you work at? Rebecca |
