Very, very frightening. And a tragedy for her family. I've not seen her in anything, but she was such a vivacious and beautiful lady I think those close to her are going to find the sudden loss very hard to deal with |

Terrible terrible accident, and very sad loss. One of my work colleagues had a fall recently whilst skiing and was unwell for a couple of days, makes you think how easily this type of thing could happen. |

Its scary isn't it a simple fall. A friend of mines son Daniel was 17 and fit healthy young lad having just done his GCSE's and planning on going to medical school he fell backwards off a 2ft wall he got up and laughed and refused medical help...he was luckily outside the school and teachers ignored him and had him took to hospital where he was diagnosed with a head injury...he suffered brain damage although this could have been fatal in a short time like Natasha's Daniels injury was not fatal due to the prompt medical help he received plus he was already in hospital This was 10 years ago and he was unable to go onto university or medical school, he is now in a "college" that helps people with injuries such as his, he suffers from terrible bouts of depression and anger.....a simple fall from a 2ft wall.... the cause of unimaginable grief for his parents and family. He is not now the same young man I knew and it took him years to reistablish himself with some self confidence, now he is coping and works part time in a plant nursery....sweeping up etc. But with the drugs he is managing.....a simple accident. Head injuries are little thought of...yet often life changing..... RIP Natasha. |

Incredibly sad. My mum was coming down the stairs with my daughter when she fell.... That moment changed her life and all of ours forever. She sustained horrific brain damage and needed life saving neuro surgery. She was never the same again, never walked or talked and wasn't 'my mum' anymore. It was devastating for us all. She spent her last months in hospital and then a nursing home, she died, aged 64, of pneumonia as an indirect result of that fall. (MY apologies to those who have heard this before) RIP Natasha, such a sad waste. My heart goes out to your family. |
