Re: Soggy Thursday

Hi everybody, it is certainly a soggy wet Thursday here, the sun does keep trying to come out though.
I am going to have to bob out to get a few bits today, could do with doing a big shop really but that will have to wait till weekend.
Nothing exciting going on at all, in fact I have had quite a few flat days with not alot going on , hope something exciting happens soon, I need abit of adventure LOL
Never mind I have got a week off the week commencing the Easter weekend so hopefully if the weather is nice OH and I might be able to get off to a few nice places .

Re: Soggy Thursday

It's not nice out there today. Just as well I'm doing work indoors.
Going out to celebrate my birthday ( a bit late I know) tonight to local pub for a meal. With my old school friends. We try to meet up every 4-6 weeks or so, I think its important to keep in touch, we have more in common now than ever. Our kids are all grown up and we swap stories and remember old school pals and hope to organise a reunion soon.

Hope everyone is tickety-boo

Re: Soggy Thursday

All I can think of is food. I've had breakfast but my stomach is rumbling and I think I'm going to succumb and run to the shops (well, a 8-10 minute journey in the car rather than run) to get some nosh.

Anyhow - it's cold and windy here, with intermittent rain and my mood is equally grey. Not down exactly, but just bleugh . . . if you know what I mean

Re: Soggy Thursday

Quite a few of us feeling less than 100% today it seems.

As for me, I had a rotten night's sleep (hardly any actual sleep or so it felt) I woke up 4 times between putting the light out at 00.15 and 01.30, and thereafter woke up every hour or so. I got up at 07.30 and have been sluggish ever since, I'd like to have a nap on the sofa but the dog just sits on my face if I try!

The rain's stopped but there are some nasty-looking clouds out there, we'll be going out to the woods this afternoon and it's sure to be very muddy out there. Just as well the dog doesn't mind a rinse off and blow-dry. The cats have sensibly stayed indoors all morning.

Re: Soggy Thursday

Sunny here after earlier drizzle, the strong winds have eased too..

I too had a bad night's sleep, didn't drop off until 5.00am-ish but it's surprising how a nice cuppa will bring you back to the world of the living once again!

Nothing much happening here other than the usual routine.

I expect Moli is well on her way to Houston now, she was leaving home just after 4.00 this morning. Hope it's a smooth flight for her

Enjoy your day!

Re: Soggy Thursday

Afternoon all,

Im home from work and im soooo hyper as its my day off tomorrow and im gonna be buying a laptop as well and so can not wait (giggles!)

Plus my parents are gonna be leaving me again while they go on their holidays for 4 days, they go tomoz n come back on Monday. They are flying to Barcelona - Spain (they only booked it on Sunday just gone) then gettin on a train for 30mins to an hour to get to a little village near the sea.

My back is really aching today so not gonna be doing much apart from going to my bfs tonight.

Weather is sunny and still have a few strong-ish winds.

Have a nice day all.

Re: Soggy Thursday

Must be "raining all over the world", as the song goes; cold rain and raw East wind here; stayed in bed! Just out to rescue the papers, hopefully my nice neighbor will bring the rubbish/recycling bins back for me; he often does in nasty weather.

I haven't had a complete straight 8 hours sleep in I can't remember when; always wake up at least twice in the night. I'm used to it by now. And I cannot sleep in the daytime. never take naps.

Hope Moli has a safe flight; weather in Houston is gorgeous now. How's the weekend forecast for you all, hope it's a good one.

Take care, think sunshine!
