Marvellous Monday

Morning all been a long time since I started a daily thread but here it is.
I have decided today is Marvellous Monday and all citizens of Catsey should rejoice in their good fortune and smile. The sun is bright, okay maybe not literally but remember under the Catsey parasol it’s always bright.

Have a really good day all.

I have a few days off work and have a few appointments but will pop on to check you are all happy.

Karen

Re: Marvellous Monday

Morning everyone.

Its gorgeous here as well.

I got sun burnt yesterday... the front of me was red raw which is now turning brown. Going lying in the sun now to do my back, so I match lol.

Next doors is havin some work done on the hose so every so often a grinder goes off (It'll stop me falling asleep in the sun anyway lol)

Have a nice day all.

Re: Marvellous Monday

Morning, all. It's after 4am here and I am just eating some "dinner" and getting ready to go to bed as I am only now ending my day.
Finally got OH to help me with some cleaning. Went to groceries Regular chores...etc.
Planning on relaxing when I wake tomorrow and taking everything pretty easy...I like the bright tone of the thread and will be remembering my good fortune today as well

Re: Marvellous Monday

It's gloriously hot and sunny here. Ran into town to do some errands and get some summer clothes and now am cooking dinner for the boys before I head off to the office for a meeting. Step-daughter is here to look after them which is ever so kind of her!

Tomorrow looks to be the same so I shall take the boys to Beale Park which is a small 'zoo'/park out by the Thames on the Oxon/Berks border. They love it there - especially the paddling pool

Re: Marvellous Monday

Sunny/cloudy/sunny here today! Went to a local area where the bluebells are in profusion and have taken some photos - will post later if any are sunny and blue!

Then to the garden centre - still looking (without much luck) for peat-free compost. Reduced peat yes, peat-free no. Might just have to resort to our own compost with perhaps some soil improver added ..... what do you greenfingered people think? Or chicken manure pellets???

The sun is now shining in through the window, Kizzy is happy hiding in her little space behind the filing cab and I have transcription to do, but I am counting all my blessings - which include a lovely warm natured friendly little (farty!) cat!!!!

I have ordered that granulated charcoal that you posted a link to Mags - sure hope it works.

If it's any help you can buy the compost online here Angie ...

Hope the charcoal works for Kizzy!

Re: Marvellous Monday

A perfectly horrid day here, all day cold rain with a blustery East wind, but in the spirit of Kazz' message, I'm thankful it's not snow!! And that Leia and I are in good health, and that my ridiculously expensive blue impatiens should come today. No news, just out to rescue the papers and will just be pottering around inside today.

Fingers crossed that the charcoal will help, Angie, nice that you all are having lovely weather and may it continue! Enough already of the rain!!
