Re: Foggy/sunny Wednesday

It's absolutely gorgeous here and warm too. OH has gone to play golf. I have just spent 20 mins or so playing with Kizzy. She loves her dangley mousie toy and clearly told me that was what she wanted to play with this morning. I love to see her playful side and I expect she'll sleep all morning now - what a life!

I forgot to ask Janey - did you enjoy the Tina Turner concert? I saw her on stage with Bryan Adams in 1999!

Yes I did and she was AMAZING, my parents saw her at the NEC in Birmingham in 1990, said she was fantastic best concert they have ever been to) We were on the upper tier but at least I got to see her. She was on the stage for 2 hours (which I wasnt expecting) with half an hour break. I have a few vids on YouTube there not the best lol.

Re: Foggy/sunny Wednesday

It's a beautiful day here, lots of sun and really warm, I think I might even have caught a bit of the sun on my face when we were out with the dog earlier on. The woodpeckers were very active and noisy in the woods today, it's wonderful just to stand still and listen to the sounds of Nature on days like this!

Now that I'm home all the time, I must stop using the tumble-dryer so much. I'll have to get a clothes line and start drying washing outside again and get that lovely fresh-air smell in the laundry.

Enjoy your day everyone, hope your weather's as good as mine!

Re: Foggy/sunny Wednesday

Sorry to say the weather's a bummer here today, only 8 degrees and drizzle ....but a lovely warmup is coming for the weekend, 28 - 30 degrees forecast and lots of sun...my kind of weather.! Felt lazy this morning and slept in, so no particular news.

Happy Earth Day, all, by the way.

Janey, hope you enjoy the concert Saturday. MrsH I love hanging the laundry out to dry, smells wonderful. And I too have a woodpecker drumming away down the block on a dead tree branch... have tried to get a pic but he is small and very high up, even with the zoom I can't get a decent shot. Angie, speaking of pics...haven't seen Kizzy for a while! Hope DM is home safely with BOTH boys!

Quiz tonight, usual time and place; Elaine is quizmistress.

Hope it's a good day for all.

Re: Foggy/sunny Wednesday

Afternoon! I've been at the allotment most of the day digging, planting, shifting a huge delivery of top soil, chatting with my brother and separating my two warring boys I have got a brown back and shoulders to match a fortnight in the Carribbean - shame the rest of me is pasty

Massive Waitrose shop and now home to prepare for the restarting of school tomorrow!! Will try to make the quiz but Balie's yakked on the duvet cover again so I want to wash and iron it and get in back on the bed.

Re: Foggy/sunny Wednesday

Hiya! its the late evening again before I get on here, so much to do here. Had a busy day in work and I think I'm in memory melt down I've lost some ultrasound scan reports and I can't find them anywhere. I know I was holding them one minute then oooops, gone ! Searched high and low ... nil found! must be there in the ether somewhere.

Anyways, all flesh and fowl in this house are fit n well, started a new healthy eating plan ( don't do diets )
Got 2 days off but spending time in doctors and vets with other family members for routine chex. have to squeeze in a hair cut in between appointments, its a mess.
Ciao. x
