It's certainly Sunday :)

A day of rest; joke! After a busy yesterday, another one on the cards by the look of it. The dormant baby population of South Wales has woken up with a vengeance, everyone has decided to have babies this w/e, must be quiet on telly

Only this morning shift and another daytme on call then offski for 12 days ... yippeeee I'll leave them all delivered and screaming their little heads off.

RIGHTO! Back to my breakfast, and morning cuppa

Ta Kelly.

Morning all taken Sal out, nice day may do a basket or tub not sure. Photobucket is irritating me...so may loose it and smash the computer up or persevere....it is still 50-50 at the moment.

Have a good day all PP 12 days off I wish you every moment of fun and sunshine...

Re: It's certainly Sunday :)

An Anniversary, Wedding Invitations day - it's a very marriage orientated day today!
Not for me. I woke up 'cured' from the sniffles (was it swine flu, I ask myself?) after a few glasses of organic cider last night, followed by 10 hours sleep till 8.15 this morning (I wonder if there is a connection? I tend to think so).
I've been allotmenteering; have pulled the last of the leeks for lunch today plus forward looking things like earthing up the first of the outside potatoes.
We've had roast free range chicken, roast potatoes, carrots and peas, leeks in white sauce with a cheese topping and rhubarb crumble and custard. The animals have helped with the chicken - neck, heart, liver etc - and are looking forward to their tea when they are promised more.
I hope everyone has had a good day - we are promised much rain tomorrow. Good for the garden, no fun for outings etc

Another beautiful day here today, very sunny indeed. This is my sort of weather, very Summer-like but without being too hot. It's tempting to put the bedding plants out but I think that would be rather unwise just yet, there's still the possibility of the odd night frost.

Hope you're all having a lovely Sunday.

Re: It's certainly Sunday :)

It is lovely here again, blue skies and 28C before lunch; will probably make 33 again today; loving every minute of being warm after that wretched Winter! Put all 12 amaryllis outside yesterday; will move the geraniums this afternoon; a wee bit too early for the tender things like tomatoes, basil, etc. A cool down is coming by mid-week, unfortunately.

DM, dinner sounds lovely! PP, enjoy every one of those 12 days off! Janey, hope the concert is great. Emma, like the announcements!

Enjoy the day!

Re: It's certainly Sunday :)

Hi all - my internet connection suddendly went down on Fri evening, no idea why but I felt quite lost without my email, google and of course Catsey

All our weekend plans went haywire as we have two very sick ewes, so the chook information trip will need to be another weekend I was so looking forward to it.

Consoled myself with visit to Garden Centre, have planted up a container with a 'weeping' cotoneaser, hostas and lobelia.

OH at vet with one of the ewes so waiting for him to come back and then we'll decide on food for us.

8c here today and cold wind. Brrrrrr

Back to work tomorrow - chairing big seminar so bit stressed thinking about it
