Sunny Sunday!

Morning all

It's a beautiful morning here, get up and go weather!

Cassie is in the garden chasing anything with wings and keeping her eye on the ones with fins My neighbour has some beautiful big fish in her pond this year and there appear to be an increase in baby ones too.

Do any of you fish owners talk to your fish? My neighbour chats away to hers when she is feeding them and I swear they 'listen' to her! They all but take the food from her hand, let her touch them and she will be talking to them all the time.......... it's fascinating..

Hope you all see some sunshine today....enjoy it!

Re: Sunny Sunday!

Morning Mags, morning all. Nice weather here too this morning. I have about an hours worth left of transcription to do this morning and then I have promised to play with Kizzy. She keeps coming and jumping on the desk in hope - dear girlie. She got a bit upset yesterday as I kept telling her that I had to work.

OH is putting the second coat of the famous woodpaint on the pergola as I type this. It's looking good.

This is a message I received from Pinklizzy this morning:

"Just realised I hadn't said where I was going! Off to Corfu for a week Soooo looking forward to a break, although I'm feeling a bit stiff this morning after our moonlit walk last night! The 'Camlas Vets Cows' won first prize in the fancy-dress contest so our picture will be in the local paper Hopefully it'll come out while I'm out of the country!"

I hope Liz won't mind me putting that in this thread. Hopefully we'll see pictures of The Cow in due course!

Have a great Sunday everyone.

Re: Sunny Sunday!

Morning!
I talk to my fishes I put my hand into the tank and they 'nibble' my fingers!
Very stiff this morning after our moonlit walk last night, got home at about 1am The weather was perfect for the walk, dry with wind, especially after the rain and hail we had in the afternoon. The 'Camlas Vets Cows' won first prize in the best-dressed team contest which was great although it means we'l have our photo in the local paper I'm keeping my finger's crossed it will be while we're in Corfu so I won't have to see it!
I'll post some photos once we get back.
Off to start my packing now, flying at 6am tomorrow!
Lx

Re: Sunny Sunday!

oooooh Lovely sun! Have a great holiday Liz! Congrats on the win too.
Going back in this afternoon for a late shift so a quick peek on Catsey first. Hope you are all well.Angie, talking to fish ain't so weird, plants, well they have the royal approval but talking to selotape ... now that's dumb.

But how can I get it to go where I want it to, not curling up and sticking to itself or, tearing off and refusing to budge from the rest of the reel ... til I lose a thumbnail in the process. It always gets torn at an angle then I spend ages picking away to get a small piece off, holding the reel and the paper with my 'third hand' and teeth!...Difficult! argh!
