Bless him, he's beginning to get more flesh on his bones and it's better to do it gradually. Lovely to see him eating well and enjoying his food again... Has he ventured outside since his return, DM? |

Only for ther briefest of moments Mags, when both OH and I are there. I'm being a total wimp with him, and excusing myself by saying that I'm waiting till he's fully-fleshed again, as he could never cope with another period of starvation if he did decide to do a runner. He looks out of the cat door sometimes, as if asking to go out, and he's enjoyed the little bits of fresh air, before I call him in for food. He never was a great explorer and I think he fancies it even less now. I'm hoping for a nice long hot summer, so we can all be outside together. |

Lovely pictures of the most famous ginger boy I know topping up his energy levels! Does he like to play indoors DM? I'm just wondering whether extra exercise would help with him putting on a bit of muscle. I expect we all are hoping for a nice long hot summer - we have ordered our garden furniture and look forward to being able to use it! |

His coat certainly looks in good condition I wouldn't worry about a quick weight gain, the boy is toning up nicely. His appetite is good and roll on the summer when he can start strutting his stuff |

Thanks for posting them pics DM , it is soooo lovely to see Chester tucking into his food and looking so much healthier again. I don`t blame you for not wanting to let him out of your sight for now, I think I would be very cautious as well. Agree with Angie get him exercising indoors that will build up some muscle, thats if he will we all know how awkward these cats can be |

He's looking so much better though DM! And slow but sure is always the best way to go, whether putting on weight or trying to lose it lol. |
