What is a normal day for you?

Hello All! Just trying something different!

I just wanted to see what a normal day is for each of you.
Just a peek into everyday life of a Catsey person

My normal day is:
I wake up at 10am, greet each & every one of our cats. They greet me with meows & leg rubs. Sushie & Sasha look at me with their innocent eyes, they want food on the floor. Then Shilo is next, she wants water in the sink, but not too much & not too little. After all the cats are content, the cats sing to me to let me know they want to go outside to enjoy the lovely sunshine. So they all run outside like a herd of wild animals

After the cats are all happy. I'm an on the go person so i'm always busy. First, I love to clean so I make sure the house is tidy & organized. Then, I go on with my hobbies. I do a little of everything. I work a little in the cats room, painting & building. I sit down and play the piano, compose a few more lines of music that I started. After that, I move onto finishing parts of my drawings. Then I teach myself more about photography & how to become a better photographer. I even make myself little flash cards of things I want to learn. Piano, Art terms, photography terms, capitals of each country...etc. I am in learning mode - Learning is fun I'm always thinking...What else can I learn?

After all of that, Hubby & I do activities together. It could be playing with the cats in the backyard, going on a photographic adventure somewhere, just staying in & watching movies, or whatever we decide the activity will be for the day.

Lifes an adventure & I am one happy cat! (ok person lol)

So, what is a normal day for you?

Re: What is a normal day for you?

Your day sounds like fun!
I get up at 7am, make a cup of tea and sit with Imogen and Kindly on the sofa for morning cuddles. Then I shower and get dressed and head downstairs to work!
Every day is different, never know what's going to happen! Usually though I check on the in-patients, feed and clean them out, give cuddles and medications then admit the animals coming in for surgery that day. Once that's done I set up all the equipment needed for that days procedures as well as running any blood tests before the animal can have a GA. We operate until about 1pm and then grab some lunch.
Afternoons are spent cleaning-walls, floors surfaces etc, emptying bins, refilling all drugs and sterilising the instruments as well as keeping an eye on the animals that are recovering.
Then send all the day patients home, clean, feed and treat in-patients and head home!
ETA- great idea for a thread HappyKatz!

Oh I never know what the day's going to bring so can't answer that . Have no set routine as I work all sorts of shifts and on call hours. Me and OH pass like ships in the night, often communicating by notes.

Days off/ holidays always get a 6:30 call for doggy toilet and animal breakfast; then doggy meds and next human breakfast and ablutions after that; anyone's guess!

Weekdays

OH or myself get up feed and water Alfie and Cali, make a coffee around 5.30am, bring it back to bed along with animals. OH then goes out to get on with his day. I then snooze for a bit before geting up around 6.30am, walk Cali, shower go to work.

Home around 5.30ish, if dry do a bit in garden, if wet - some housework, prepare meal for whoever has indicated they'll be here!

Evening varies, catch up with OH, hobbies, catsey (of course)

Weekends
Long lie, hobbies, housework, work with OH as he works 7 days. Walk dogs, try to get some time together etc.

Very spoiled as OH does the majority of provisions shopping and laundry. Also he walks dogs during week.

Great thread idea

Re: What is a normal day for you?

Monday -Wednesday

Wake up to Dylan coming on the bed, get up, get ready for college, go to college and do college work, come home, fuss and feed Dylan, go to Beauty's grave for a few minutes, have dinner, wash up, spend evening on Catsey unless I've got homework.

Thursday
Same as above except instead of college work I'm busy around the house.

Friday - Sunday
Wake up, get ready for work, go to work (early morning), come home, fuss and feed Dylan, go back to bed for morning, get up again, have lunch, go to the rescue, come home evening time, evenings spent the same as for the rest of the week.

Re: What is a normal day for you?

Excellent thread idea; nice to see what others days are like! My routine is not very interesting, but here goes;

I get up about 8am, feed Leia, have breakfast and head out for whatever the days errands are: market, library, bank, etc; then home to either do a bit of gardening(weather permitting) or some housework. Go on computer to check e-mail and a few other sites I'm on, pop on Catsey before lunch at noon with the news (having give Leia her lunch first!) Afternoon, a few more chores then settle to read the papers and do the crossword, back to Catsey till 6 pm when I watch the news again while I fix dinner (having fed Leia first! ) Wash up, read a bit then back on Catsey to check up what happened since I was last on; read some more then up at 11 to watch the late news and read in bed for a while (having given Leia her midnight snack, romp and brushing.) When you're retired, weekdays and wekends are pretty much the same, at least with me. A quiet life, but suits me.

Re: What is a normal day for you?

This is so confusing (its taken me half an hour just to right this)

Every day apart from Friday I do this;

I wake up at 5am... press snooze a good few times, then drag my self out of bed at 5.20. Think oh my god, not work again!

I'm at my first job everyday (including Sunday) im there from 6 till 9

At 9 (after my first job) I go to my other job (visual merchandiser one) on a Monday and Wednesday I work 9-11.
Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday I work till 1.

I cherish Fridays lol. On that day I'll still wake up early-ish, about 7 then laze about, do some of the house work for my mummy etc.
