Wet n windy Wednesday

Hi Guys! I've been absent for a few days coz I haven't had a minute to call my own. Lots of on call work and a nice day on Sunday in the company of old friends in a new home. It's been bed to work since then, and keeping up with the housework too. No Catsey fun

I hope you are all keeping well. No sickness here, thankfully. Old dog keeps ticking along and Posh is her usual self, doing her bored teenager thing at the moment coz the weather is bad.

Off grocery shopping soon then a late shift in work. Have a good day, stay dry!

Wet here too - I'm reduced to doing a spot of work!
Yola - best wishes for a good vet visit with Bailie. I read about his weight loss in yesterday's daily. Hope it's just a 'getting older' thing, or something easily remedied.
I think it might be a pop-in-and-out of Catsey day!

Thanks DM

It's cold and wet and windy here and far from the promised sunshine Let's hope that tomorrow onwards is better as they claim it will be.

I have a 2nd interview this afternoon with our star finance manager candidate apart from that need to get on and gets lots of marketing bits sorted.

Re: Wet n windy Wednesday

Hi everyone! Horribly wet and windy here too today. Poor Kizzy - given her freedom yesterday, but she doesn't want to go out today and keeps asking me to make the rain stop! I would if I could Kizz, honestly!

I've got loads of transcription work to do today - one of my clients kindly left me a load to do while she is on holiday, and needs it back when she returns. Ah well, it'll keep me out of mischief.

MIL has had another couple of very bad days. Her hallucinations are bullying her to get out and so she keeps wanting to pack. It is so distressing for her - I really feel very sad that she can't relax and be peaceful. OH gets very worried and upset. As I've said before, Kizzy really is my comfort blanket and a cat snuggle helps me keep my head above water. MIL has to wait until the end of July to see the psychogeriatrician unfortunately, though whether there is anything that can be done for her is another matter. OH obviously does not want her knocked out with drugs, but atm I'm wondering whether even that wouldn't be kinder.

I'll be popping in again later! Have a good day everyone.

Yes it's cold here too angie
No fire, but we don't have any 'elders' here but we sub-elders are quite cool enough and talking of extra jumpers for watching the footie final on Tv tonight!

Re: Wet n windy Wednesday

It's chilly (14C) and overcast with a raw East wind here, but at least the rain has stopped for now, and the flood waters receded. I have a sweater on also...am tempted to borrow Leia's thermal mat to sit on while I'm on here, but she looks so peaceful napping on it I don't have the heart. Overslept this morning so am on here late after the market run. No news, all is well. Haven't been to the garden to see if the beans are up yet.

PP, glad to see you back! Angie, so sorry about your MIL's further deterioration; very sad for you and OH..... Yola, hope the meeting gors well!

QUIZ tonight at 8 pm!

Windy and a bit wet here today, feeling a bit chilly too.
I've been out 'looking after' my plants again this afternoon
I was brave today and booked Imogen in for her spay on Friday I'm actually really nervous which I know is silly as I trust the vets totally but she's my baby......
Also not looking forward to taking away her food tomorrow night
