A boy and his bike


This is Lewis my nephew on his birthday today he is 10 where does the time go...this is him outside mine with his pride and joy his new bike

Happy Birthday Lewis..where do the years go indeed... i remember something i was told when Cait turned 10...i laughed at the time but now im like OMG it's so true... it was....
"If the next 10 years go as fast as the last 10 years go Cait will be 20 and you will be 43"
Cait will be 20 in a few weeks... and of course the second part has already come true as i turned 43 in Feb...

What a super bike!!! He does look very proud of it.

New bikes are real milestone purchases aren't they? I vividly remember the excitement of receiving both of my new bikes (at 6 and 11) when I was a child.
