Fridays thread

Morning all,

Was up early again on my day off grrr, but I dont mind as I got my Sims 3 game yesterday yay, Ive hardly been off it since lol.

Not sure what its like outside as ive not looked yet but the temp on my computer says its 10c and sunny.

My harnesses for the boys (Leo and Jake) came yesterday as well, so we had them both out in the garden again. Jake is really not use to having a lead following him, so he just looks around at it and then falls sideways like he's drunk lol. bless.

Have a nice day everyone.

Re: Fridays thread

It's cloudy and distinctly colder here. I ended up being very sick last night - combination of the stress of the day, quantity of wine and I suspect some slightly dodgy guacamole.

I went to bed and missed all the excitement (?) of a big accident on the hill outside our house. They do tend to race up there waaay to fast and the central bollards end up being taken out.

Today I'm at home with Sebi (who's currently using me as a climbing frame), we're off to get his hair trimmed shortly and then I'll pop to the allotment to make sure everything's as it should be there. My tummy's a bit upset today so I daren't stay down there too long

Anyway - off for a shower now . . . have a good friday all.

Re: Fridays thread

Morning all - cloudy and chilly here in Kent. Back to the boots and put the shoes away again I think!!

Had to go to the hospital for an x ray on my neck this morning as I have paid pains on my left side of my neck/shoulder etc.. I also have numb tingling left arm... you may remember I was ill way back last year... I am still undiagnosed but getting stranger and stranger symptoms!! I also have a large numb patch on my right leg. I have an appointment with a neurologist in July and a Rheumatologist in August so I am sure one day I will get a diagnosis!!! (A girl can live in hope!!)

Anyways went to go to the hospital for the x ray to find my car not starting.. had to get the kids to walk to school and off I treck to the hospital. Now I am back from the hospital and knackered from the walk, but also have to find a way to get to work with no car!!!

I best get a move on I suppose... have a good day all.

My it's quiet here today - I'm almost worried I might wake someone up if I 'speak'
I can't add any pearls of wit and wisdom though, it's a quiet, quiet, quiet day today. Curry tonight though! Yum

Re: Fridays thread

I wonder if this will get things going???

Kizzy had a vole AND a shrew yesterday! She plays with them very gently - chases them, bats at them with paws with no claws and generally shows no killing instinct at all! Poor things are of course scared into stupor probably. OH has made up an emergency "rescue the rodent" kit and is being kept busy rescuing the wee mites.

Have a lovely holiday Kazz!

Sorry you're tum's not good today Yola - are you growing any fennel at your allotment? Have a bit of a munch on the leaves - I find that's a great digestive.

I'm doing a few pots and containers today - but have to keep coming in to warm up a bit! It's not really cold, but it's the change from the really hot weather.

Re: Fridays thread

Afternoon,
Had a much better day today although just got in and this is the first time I've sat down all day, starving after no lunch too! Assisted with a three hour op to remove a huge splenis mass from an elderly lab-it weighed 3kg! I've got photos but they're probably too gruesome to post!
Off to do the housework now, daren't sit down too long or I'll be asleep!
Lx

Re: Fridays thread

Horrid weather continues, third day of rain and chilly, 14C. I avoid going out in rain if I can, but had no choice today as I had to go to the bank and market! Will stay indoors the rest of the day...poor Leia doesn't understand why the radiator isn't warm, she is sitting on it now looking at me reproachfully, lol! There is a rumor that the rain will end tonight finally and we might see some sun. The weeds love this, they are growing like, well, weeds!

Yola, hope you're feeling better soon. Angie, I hate it when they play catch-and-release with their prey. Janey, glad you're having fun with the Sims! Kazz, have a safe trip, enjoy, we'll miss you. Donna, hope they can finally get a proper diagnosis for whatever's ailing you and get it sorted finally. PL, busy day, put your feet up and relax! DM....curry? Love it, do you want a boarder?

Please send "Rain, rain, go away!" vibes! Drought worries are GONE!!
