Cleo Radiator Bed anyone?

Hi all! havent been on here in a while but i would really appreciate some opinions on this bed. my Rhino loves his radiator bed but i hate the ones we have, they are flimsy and the cover is forever slipping off etc so i had been looking for one that seems more rigid and came across this:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Cleo-Pet-Del...4724150&sr=8-9

I really like the look of it but it only has a couple of reviews on amazon so thought i would see if anyone here has this bed and what they think of it? or even to recommend any others that might be suitable?

Thanks in advance!

I haven't seen that before JB. Does look very snug - just right for winter.

Sorry - never seen that before either - but I think it looks much more robust than the usual one.

The only comment I'd make is the fact it is quite open at the front. The one I have is more hollow in the centre. SUppose it'd depend on the cat!

Calismum, do you mind me asking what bed you have?

i have two at the moment, both the same but they were just cheap ones that i got from argos. i cant complain because i only paid about £4 each for them and they have lasted ages, but i just dont like them lol i like the look of the cleo bed aswell as it looking more sturdy, but obviously this is reflected in the price so wanted to be sure there wasnt anything else around before getting it!

I have this one, it has been in use for over 6 years and is still going strong.

Re: Cleo Radiator Bed anyone?

yeah ive always liked the danish design one and have been tempted a few times but cant find out how its attached to the frame. the ones we have just slip over the bars and have nothing to fasten them, hence why they are always slipping off i figured this was the norm for most radiater beds but after reading about the one you have having a zip fastening maybe im wrong.

any idea how the danish design one fastens on anyone?

another thing that is putting me off the cleo bed is that it says the max weight is 5kgs now Rhino would be ok because he just a little under that and so is Hernie, but Raven and AJ are big boys its a shame because its a lovely looking bed

Mine are always knocking ours off the radiator and the cover slips, bearing in mind I have 6 cats and 1 radiator bed, they all try and pile in, I have duct taped the bars together and it's ok now, not good, just ok!

That first one looks super!

They're all quite interesting. I've never thought about getting one as mine all have slept ON the radiator covers. I wonder if they could handle a big heavy cat (14 pounds)?
