Hi all quiet today - 2.30 and I'm 2nd to post on the daily!! Had a busy day so far. Took the camera with me as we went round the sheep this morning. Will do you a pic heavy 'what I did today' later. Watching tennis just now, hope Andy Murray does well. If the rain stays away will cut the grass later. For lunch today had roll with cold meat and home grown tomatoes and salad leafs - funny how it tastes so much better. Made steak pie for dinner tonight. Enjoy your day peeps |

Hi, Janey, CM, Yola! A picture perfect day, cloudless blue skies, nice breeze and 23 here. Walked to the market as it was so lovely; no afternoon plans except papers and crossword...and Catsey, of course. Still having trouble getting two channels on TV after we finally switched to all digital transmission. I'm not alone, the Channel 7 blog is aroar with hundreds of angry people in the same situation .... Dinner tonight: my favorite broiled crab cake, sprouts and curried potatoes. Hope it's an enjoyable day for all! |

Many apologies for very late arrival and very brief stay. Busy busy busy and enjoying good weather. Had a great lunch, where only the lamb didn't come from the allotment - even had the first of the new season carrots, though they were barely more than matchstick size - thinnings really. Eileen - your potatoes might well be ready. Can you furtle round and try to determine if there's anything worth digging up? Remember you are going for taste not size - you can always buy volume at the store but you can't get that 'fresh from the garden' taste. Enjoy the pleasant evening everyone - see you tomorrow for proper chat! |
