Re: Tricky Tuesday

In the office again. Am helping some colleagues prepare a big presentation which they have to drive to Weymouth tomorrow to give. Need to see if I can track down an Audi S5 for OH to test drive as he's kind of warming up about that . . . .

The shoulder/chest thing is better today and I managed a good night's sleep so am feeling brighter altogether. The sun is shining too so that makes a difference to the mood straightaway!

Re: Tricky Tuesday

Afternoon,

Only just come in from work and shopping, bought some jeans.

Its well hot here, think we are gonna have a BBQ later... looks like its gonna rain the clouds are turning dark.

My joints are really hurting today for some reason, My fingers hurt on my left hand when they bend sideways... sort of thing, my right knee is really sore and feels like its coming out of its socket all the time, my feet keep cracking (the top part) and my backs aching but those last two are normal, lol.

Enjoy the rest of the day people.

Re: Tricky Tuesday

Another lovely June day, sunny, 23C and warming up nicely, no rain forecast for the next few days! Up to the Giant this morning for the Fancy Feast Leia wants that's no longer at my usual Safeway.

The subway crash was horrible! It gave me a creepy feeling: rode that line for years when I worked in Silver Spring (suburb), and knew exactly where it happened. From the pics on TV it's amazing that more people weren't killed.

Janey, you're young for osteoarthritis, but it does happen sometimes; have you discussed joint pains with your doctor? Yola, glad you got a decent sleep and feel better. how is Bailie today...eating??

May the sun shine on everyone today!

Yes its scary isn't it people doing what they do every day I mean you think of the risk if you go in a plane, rock climbing diving even....but travelling to work on a train..........nope thats not worth thinking about....normal activities should present no risk....the news here is they were advised to take the traains/coaches off regular use 3 years ago.....is that right?

Re: Tricky Tuesday

Went to the hospital today to do a bloodtest to check on progress of my RA (progress sounds such a positive word doesn't it? unfortunately it's not used in a positive way here!) I'll ring them tomorrow for the results - I wonder if anyone will be answering the phones by then?

It's been a really hot afternoon, the woods are all dry and dusty. When we took the dog for his walk I was wearing sandals and you just wouldn't believe the state of my feet when we got back indoors!

The cats have just gone out into the garden, they were out there first thing this morning for a while but then it just got too hot for them until now. Dog is cooling off by lying on the slate hearth in the living room and OH and I are having a beer before getting dinner ready - it's salmon, new potatoes and green salad tonight.

Yes, that's right. It has taken longer than anticipated to retire the older cars: delay in receiving the newer ones, greatly increased ridership plus opening new lines. At this point, it's far too soon to tell but operator negligence may be a factor....
