Re: Sunday Daily

Very overcast and humid here today. I've just had to come in as it's decided to rain - not heavy atm, but enough to make a nuisance and to have to bring in all the washing. That will teach me not to hang washing out on a Sunday.

MIL was very confused and agitated again yesterday, so OH was not able to go to our friend's house warming. I went on my own but only stayed for a couple of hours. MIL is still agitated today. She would have stayed out in the rain if I hadn't got her in.

Hope it's brighter where you are today!

Since Wenesday my sore throat has got far worse, croaky voice persists. Didn't stop me having a BBQ with my rellies and visitors last night , gotta take my chance to party while I can. Started antibioticss today from on call doc.

Staying in now and cleaning up after the 'do'. x

Re: Sunday Daily

We had a lovely walk in the New Forest today with about 20 other cocker spaniels and their owners. Fortunately it didn't get as hot as we'd feared, it was about 23 degrees, so we didn't suffer too much! The sky was light cloud so no eye-squinting bright sun either.

All the dogs had a fantastic time and got on really well with each other. There were a couple of "handbags at dawn" incidents but nothing serious. The dogs involved simply turned to different dogs to walk with. Morgan was first to roll in horse poo and then first to go bog snorkelling in the mud. It was the first time we'd been to one of these meets and the boy certainly made sure he was remembered by all! Can't wait to do it again!

Re: Sunday Daily

A cloudy cool day, only 21C and not going to warm up much; rain this afternoon yet again!! We've had well over 6" so far in June, well above average of 2.80". at least I haven't had to water the garden. Did a market run, just going to be lazy the rest of the day.

Angie, that is so sad about your MIL ..... Janey, you're really having fun at your concerts, aren't you? MrsH, your Morgan is a little character! PP, hope your throat clears up soon with the ABs. Smudgley ....YES! pics!

Enjoy the day!

Re: Sunday Daily

Had a lazy morning - did not even wake up til quarter to 12! Breakfast, long bath with my latest book and then a leisurely stroll to my neighbour/friend to see how her 3 week holiday in Thailand went. Just catching up on catsey as been away myself and then extremely busy last week. Its hot here, very hot - been clear blue skies but in the last hour it has begun to cloud over. Still too hot though! sitting with fan breezing over me at the moment. Have a good day all! Jan x
