Afternoon peeps... its 4.20 and no daily!

I had the BEST night EVER last night.... as some may know I went watching Lady Gaga and OMG, I have no words to decribe how good she was, im uploading my videos to youtube at the mo. We managed to get 2nd row right slap bang in the middle of the stage. She was only on for an hour but it was worth the sweating and aching lol, it was soooo hot in the room. Im still hyped up about it.

Its raining here and we are meant to be having a BBQ tonight for my mums birthday tomorrow... Dunno whos gonna be outside cooking in the rain but it aint gonna be me lol.

Rain! Oooh yes please, Janey, send it down here then you'll not have a problem for your BBQ! The lawns are looking very parched and it's becoming a real pain watering the annuals regularly, we've lost quite a few because we forgot once or twice. The level of water in the rain barrels is now very low.

Glad you had a good time at your concert last night, yesterday you were worried that she might not turn up! As a registered ancient pensioner I have to admit I'm not familiar with Lady Gaga but she was on MTV at the hairdresser's this morning so now I know who she is!

Not much been happening here the weather is so humid and we have just had a couple of light quick showers throughout the day.

Hi Janey, MrsH, Leesy and any latecomers yet to arrive! A sunny delightfully warm (27C) morning here, but a cool front is approaching so we'll probably have rain, cooler than normal temps and unsettled weather for the rest of the week. Hope everything will clear up for the long holiday weekend! No errands today so had a lie-in, did some needed chores and paid bills; nothing exciting.....but ......my first tomato is coloring up! Now if I can only keep it away from the squirrel and catbird ......... !

Glad you had such a great time at the concert, Janey, must admit I have no idea who Lady Gaga is! Hope you get the BBQ in; and hope you get some needed rain, MrsH ....would gladly send you some of our surplus if I could.

Yes please RAIN! It's still very overcast and sticky here. Wish we could just have the rain without the crash, bangs and wallops.

This afternoon, I have had my last exercise session in the gym for the pulmonary rehab course I've been doing. Just reassessment session on Thursday and the course is over. I have to say that I have really enjoyed the exercise and never thought I would say that. I actually managed to do just over 30 minutes today. It's very nice to exercise in a gym with others who have similar (or worse) problems than oneself. I can't see myself ever wanting to go to a gym with the "gym bunnies" in lycra! But at least I can go to the hospital gym if I want once a week - no charge and no regular commitment. I will also be looking at Tai Chi and Pilates courses locally. I feel much more hopeful than I did before the course started 6 weeks ago. And I just need to organise picking up the exercise bike from Yola! Oh, and OH (who is much more cheerful now) has bought me WiiFit for my birthday in advance - it's great fun! Are others who got WiiFit still using and enjoying theirs???

Glad Lady GaGa turned up Janey - I am not at all sure who she is .......... but I am very glad you had a good time. Perhaps I'll look at your videos on YouTube - could you post a link? I'll be more enlightened then!!!

Hya all,
Its been sooooo hot today - I cleaned two houses today, I have my own little cleaning round, and boy! it was sticky work. I actually took my fan with me along with my radio and it helped a lot so think that will be my constant companion this week. I came home, had a cold tea and tried to sit in the conservatory, but the heat drove me out, thats the bad thing about having house cats this weather! No leaving open of many doors. (or many windows, Felix thinks he is houdini). Came up, lay on my bed and fell fast asleep! All before half six, unheard off unless I am ill. Still very hot tonight, humid and you struggle to sleep when you should. Another hot day 2m with Thursday being forecast as the hottest day. I am at least working in the pub tomorrow afternoon, thats usually cooler and I can always hide in the cellar if it gets too much, thats so cold its untrue. Bliss!

Glad Lady Gaga was brilliant,I really like her. Bit eccentric but it never did Michael any harm! Jan x
