Sunday Daily

Morning all.

Went to to Hilton Hotel in Manchester for my bfs birthday, had a few cocktails in there then went to a pub and then to another bar, was good.

Think we are gonna go to Cheshire Oaks (shopping outlet thingy) later on for a wonder round.

It looks like its wanting to chuck it down here, its a bit cold as well.

Have a nice day all.

Re: Sunday Daily

Morning all,

I have done the rounds of feeding and sorting all the pets and have got the washing under control!! Food shopping was done yesterday, so hopefully a lazy Sunday for me...

Emma my daughter has asked me to take her to the shops today which translates into "mum I want you to buy me some new things" LOL so I may take her out. She has had some health issues that are being looked into (whilst all the time I am still being investigated and remain undiagnosed) so I might take her out and treat her.

hope the rain holds off. Have a good day all.

Re: Sunday Daily

Afternoon peeps!
This weekend is turning out to be a super busy one! Ended up working until 4.30 yesterday (supposed to finish at 1) with a very sad case Hoping for a lie in today but more surgery downstairs! If you remember a while back I posted the pics of the dog that had eaten a nut from a tractor? Well, the silly girl has only gone and done it again Repeat of the surgery to remove it yet again!
Back home now so going to get some housework done and might do some baking.
Hope everyone's enjoying their weekends.
Lxxx

Hello all! Just a quick note to say all well here - I am doing a bit of weeding in the salad garden. Just found (and eaten) a large white radish - boy, was it hot!

Enjoy your Sunday - will post join you again later on.

Re: Sunday Daily

It's a beautiful morning here: clear blue skies, nice breeze and 26C ...we may actually reach our normal high of 31 today..,has been below average all month so far. To the market as usual, needed shrimp for shrimp creole tonight, also a nice bottle of vinho verde...... goes well with it. Just a lazy afternoon planned: papers, crossword and Catsey.

PL, what is with that crazy nut-eating dog???? Janey, glad you had a nice evening; enjoy your retail therapy, Donna!

Enjoy the day .......

Re: Sunday Daily

Afternoon all! Had a nightmare day yest. in work, ended up working 13 hours flat out then on call overnight, luckily all the babies stayed put during the dark hours and I could get a sleep. Doing all the first day calls today so a bit late 'reporting in'

My mum's 72nd birthday yest too, so July 11 must be a popular day to be born

Weather a bit foxy, but nice now, blue skies and fluffy clouds with a breeze. Posh and Bron having a Sunday siesta with 'dad'... a picture of contentment, ahhh!

Re: Sunday Daily

Apart from a late morning downpour it's been find and sunny here. Went to the gym (and bumped into the cook from the boys' school . . . am going to try and rope her into a game of tennis one day), and then did a major Waitrose shop as the kitchen was depleted and it's packed lunches for holiday care for the boys for the next month
Then a trip to the allotment where OH finished the raspberry cage and I weeded.

Roast beef for dinner tonight with our own onions, potatoes, beetroots and courgettes (and rhubarb for desert) Very nice it was too

I am really impressed at how much produce you have managed to grow in your first year on the allotment Yola - well done to you and your family.

It's that massive trailer of cow manure that's done the trick, I'm sure it is Feed the soil not the plants - that's what all the books say!
