Introducing Z, the new 'practice' dog!

I'd like to introduce you all to Z! He was brought into the practice to be PTS on Monday, aged 6 because 'he's crippled with arthritis and smells of wee'
The vet refused to put him to sleep after seeing him so he has been signed over to us. He's a lovely dog, full of energy just slightly overweight (he needs to lose about 12kg! but we have him on a diet and lots of exercise.

Pleeeeease throw it!

Typical lab, head in the water, bum in the air!

He loves to swim though and it's great, low impact exercise

He's a real sweetheart, I'd take him on in a heartbeat if we had a garden. We're looking for a home for him but for now everyone is taking it in turns to take him out for walks etc, luckliy we have such nice walks around here. He is completely housetrained BTW, asks to go out, totally clean.

I keep saying ........... there is only one bad animal species on this planet and it certainly isn't that lovely dog. So glad your practice has taken him in, sure you'll find a loving home for him soon.
