Hi Angie, It is 60mph single carriageway. Recently a young girl driver got killed very close to where this cat was found. Here is a link to the article with a picture of the road (which is just past a bend) http://www.braintreeandwithamtimes.c...died_in_crash/ the cat is about 30 feet further from the flowers in the photo. Just phoned the vet, they have no reported cats missing of that description, she did say I could bring it in if I wanted to. I said I would have but that particular piece of road is very dangerous even on foot and the cat is a long away away from a layby. I will keep my eye on it to see if it gets moved. The vets know where it is now as well. |

This photo shows the road better, it is a good piece of road but quite a few fatalities in the 10 years we have lived there (a neighbour died on that road about 6 years ago) |

Awww R.I.P little kitty. I don't think I could move an animal, I get really upset at just seeing a hedgehog or bird in the road!!! Even though I'd want to help I just couldn't. But you never know how you'd react in a situation like that until your in it. |
