Tuesday thread

Hi folks!

Sunny intervals here and the temperature appears to be rising at last.

Had to take Cassie for a check with the dental nurse this morning. Her gingivitis has cleared and her teeth are looking lovely again. She had to continue with the Dentagen added to her water, it won't stop the plaque but it will keep it under control. She also has a free sample of Hills Science Oral Care kibble. I have also ordered some Plaque Off

Have a good day everyone!

Re: Tuesday thread

Afternoon. Am feeling grotty with a sore throat, headache and a cold. Pah Didn't help that Sebi came downstairs in the night and I had to take him into the spare room with me and didn't get as much sleep as I would have liked (Myshka lying on top of me didn't help).

In the office and am looking for some swimwear that will hide my repulsive flabby tummy yet look attractive. All I seem to find on the UK sites are things for elderly women or sex kittens . . . the US sites on the other hand have some lovely swimdresses that look very pretty but sadly they don't ship to the UK

Must get an early night tonight . . .

Re: Tuesday thread

Hi Mags, Yola, Janey! Beautiful again today, sunny, 28C already and only a very slight change of afternoon t'storms. We're finally getting some proper Summer weather after a very cool start. Nothing new here, up to the Giant for the cat food Safeway is no longer carrying and that Leia loves (she's not spoiled, of course )and some salad greens for tonight. Kuan Yin would probably like it ...I'm still amazed and amused at that pic of her!

Glad to hear Cassie's teeth are doing so well; sorry you're feeling a bit grotty, Yola; get some rest, Janey, sorry it's raining!

Take care ...

Re: Tuesday thread

Eileen, Kuan Yin would like to know what time is supper

K is back at work as security. He's been told if he's caught doing any physical work he is fired. He's working graveyards which is his preference. I stayed up to see that he got home last night (4am) and so am only now waking up.

Things are intermittently crazy and then normal. At least there's bits of normal seeping into there, I'll take it!

Just regular upkeep of the house and tending to the babies and such. And trying to find time here and there to relax and read a little and get some "me" time in while K is at work and quality time with the kids of course.

Sweltering hot here..I thought it was supposed to be cooler in Washington..I thought wrong!

Re: Tuesday thread

Evening!
Busy day again, emergency op at 7pm so late home again but never mind. Had my long-awaited doctors appointment today which confirmed that I need to have surgery on my hand but the referral probably won't come through for another 2-3 months because I live in the wrong county I think I'll enquire about how much it would cost to go private as I really need it removing sooner than that, and that's just the wait for an appointment with the surgeon!
Still no news on Podge
Hope you feel better Yola, glad K is back at work Tink-make sure he takes it easy!

ETA-I have a ganglion in my right inex finger which needs removing, not my hand, sorry Angie, didn't mean to worry you!

Re: Tuesday thread

Oh PL, that's sad that there's no word on Podge! I think I'm having as senior moment or missed a thread, what's wrong with your hand?

Tink, weather here is all messed up ...you're getting the heat out there that we normally have. I'd love to have Kuan Yin for dinner, can't speak for the Princess who does not like other cats! I do make a nice tossed salad if I do say so as shouldn't!

Re: Tuesday thread

Righty-o, I'm saying nighty-night. After another stupid, pointless argument with OH I'm heading off to bed. This is becoming tiresome and . . . well, pointless

See you all tomorrow for more chat and 'sanity'.
