Lotherton Hall Bird Sanctury

I went to Lotherton Hall today with some of my chilminded kids to see the birds and to have a picnic, it is a lovely place to visit with lots to do, it has a bird sanctury, deer farm, the hall, big gardens, a large play and picnic area and a small cafe.
Here are a few pics taken today.

The entrance to the bird sanctury with the kids and my daughter Jackie.

Me and the kids.

These next pics are taken inside a big caged area where you can walk around inside with the birds, the kids loved it.

Hope you enjoy the pics we certainly enjoyed our day out.

Great photos Leesy - you had your hands full I should imagine. What a great place to take them - that last photo of the black and orange bird - amazing - do you know what it is?

LOL I have seen that many birds and their names today it is hard to remember but I am sure it was some form of Hornbill, they were gorgeous to look at and were really flirty looking with lovely long black eyelashes which don`t show up to well.
