Re: Saturday Daily

Hi, Janey! Looks like we're the only ones here today! Nothing new going on here; the usual Saturday library run and got gin,. Not a pleasant day, cloudy, very humid and threatening to rain any minute, only 24C too. It's almost September!

Hope it's a good dinner, what's he fixing?

Re: Saturday Daily

Weather here is sunny and warm, although first thing this morning it was rather fresh! I had to work this morning. I only have to work one Saturday morning in six, but after doing five full days it can sometimes be a bit of a struggle when the alarm clock goes off! After I finished I did the supermarket run. Got home and was yelled at loudly by YumYum demanding to know if I had bought her anything tasty ~ and naturally I had ~ (I know my place! ). Might have a little cat nap in a minute as the new pain-killers I'm taking for my back problem make me a bit drowsy. Tonight, I shall settle down with a pizza and YumYum and watch the X-Factor!

South Devon and back (7 hour round trip) with my Mum to visit my elderly Aunt in her care home. She's doing well, which I'm very pleased about!

After dinner Mum's going to put Dominik to bed and OH and I are going to go and sit on our allotment with some wine and listen to the festival (for free) which will be happening just over the hedge from the lottie

Hi all - just back from the wettest holiday I've ever had. 2 dryish days out of 15

We were round some of the Scottish Islands, Arran, Mull, Iona. Had a great time, but missed you all.

Off to try and catch up with what you've all been up to whilst I've been away.
