I don't recall Cassie ever showing any discomfort with teething as a kitten. She used to chew on cardboard boxes a lot, that was all. In fact we didn't really notice any signs of her losing her kitten teeth... I'm sure Pip will sail through it Angie, it's nothing like a human baby teething... |

Same here, Angie; I never noticed any discomfort when mine were teething so have no advice. I never found any milk teeth, either. Edited: here's an interesting link: http://www.articlesbase.com/pets-art...ng-503506.html |

Thanks for that link Eileen. Seems some people notice very little and for others it sounds as if their kitten does go through it. Probably it is the phase where kittens will chew cables if they are going to ............ Pip is taking interest in cables, so I will have to think about how to protect them, and him! |

Not with kittens but with my handreared puppies I used to soak an old flannel in water, wring out then put in the freezer. I used to let them chew the edges of the material-while supervised of course! |
