Wednesday Daily

Morning all.

Im so stressed. I was in work this morning in the warehouse and I heard a noise (I thought it was me or someone making a strange noise) anyway I stopped and listened and realised it was a cats meow!!! I was like omg its stuck on the roof, so I stopped a girl who was walkin down and we stood there for the next meow, when we heard it she went and told the security guy. After that I dont know what happened, if they got someone up there I dont know, they probably have done nothing knowing the Tesco staff at my place. A woman heard it yesterday but thought she was hearing things, like I thought I was! Poor cat.

I really hope they have done something, Im gonna ask someone tomorrow and if they havnt what should I do? I cant stop thinking about it.

Other than that my car is still unwell, but think we know what the problem is, Its a spark plug thats gone so my bf is gonna try and find a spare one at work n fix that tonight.

Its sunny and cloudy here.

Have a good day all.

Morning all

Janey - hope someone has found the cat!

Nice and sunny here. Both children back at school now. So rushed mornings and stressed people as usual in my house every morning!!

Nothing much to report, so have a good day everyone.

Re: Wednesday Daily

Hello everyone! Glad to hear you intend to come along to the quiz tonight Jane - hope you can make it!

Everyone is very welcome to join in - we'd be so glad to have more "competitors", although it's only for fun!

Do hope that poor cat has been found Janey - how long has it been since you first heard it calling???

Bit of an overcast day here, tricky little squally winds and not nearly as sunny as I had hoped it would be.

Kizzy and Pip have been playing together this morning - well, I say "playing" - OH and I have been rolling ping pong balls, Pip has been chasing them and Kizzy has occasionally stuck out a paw to stop one! I have tried them both on a piece of fresh catnip (Eileen's seeds) from the greenhouse. I think they are both susceptible - Kizzy is definitely, Pip just seemed to enjoy chewing it, but didn't go "mad" for it - just as well, as I think promoting catnip addiction in one so young is probably illegal!

Pip is due his 2nd inoculation on Friday (think I already posted that) so I phoned the vet this morning to ask if one of the vet nurses could show me the best way to administer the Panacur paste which I still haven't even attempted. I'm taking the tube with me and either the vet or the vet nurse will show me how to do it. I just don't want to hurt little Pip (wimp, I know!)

Don't forget QUIZ TONIGHT - 8 o'clock!

Re: Wednesday Daily

I'm all ready for summer in my sandals and short-sleeved top and I'm covered in goosebumps!! From a balmy evening yesterday to a chilly afternoon today

Donna - I concur with the stressed, rushed mornings but I'd rather that than endless fights and screeching over toys. Thank heaven for school - people who say parents use school as a babysitting service obviously don't have children

Jane - I hope that the cat is found . . . do you not have a friendly warehouse chappy you can sweet talk? I suspect eyes brimming with tears and sob stories about cats travelling hundreds of miles with cargo might do the trick - I hope so!!

Dull day at work. I've been editing some ghastly text about mobile phone marketing . . . marketing I like, new media marketing bores me rigid! Will try to make the quiz tonight - now we have a laptop as well as the desk PC we can each do our own thing IT-wise

Re: Wednesday Daily

Janey 'you' could have called the RSPCA or Cats Protection to come and rescue the cat... Rather than hoping someone else does it, who then hopes someone else does it, and it goes on... Then pussy cat never gets rescued
If cats been on roof for days, even the Fire Brigade would possibly come out to get it....

Re: Wednesday Daily

Hi, all; gloomy, chilly (19C) and on and off drizzle! Made for an awkward trip to the market manoeuvering on and off the bus with bags, umbrella and electronic fare card; I hate shopping in the rain!
Nothing to report but my weather grumble!

Janey, hope the cat is rescued soon! Angie, glad to hear the catnip did well and that Kizzy's enjoying it; young kittens almost never react to it, give him time. Kado, Yola, love to see you both at the QUIZ tonight!

Re: Wednesday Daily

How does quiz night work? I've not joined one yet, and unfortunately I won't be able to tonight as I've got a friend coming over armed with a pizza, but I'd certainly like to give one a go!
