Thursday daily

What a beautiful day, with wall to wall sun and blue sky! Puts a spring in your step!
My washing machine has given up the ghost - for ever - so I will have to get a new one on return from hols. How exciting! It's done 12 years though, so that's not so bad.
Holiday Saturday. Hurrah. I think my visits to Catsey may get fewer when I return - just because there are only so many hours in the day and maybe just a little bit of 'I've been around five years, more or less, maybe time to take a back seat'. I'll still be on Az's 'Oldie' forum and will look in here from time to time, if anyone really, really wants to speak to me.
Love and kisses to all. H x

Re: Thursday daily

Hi DM - glorious day here too. Not too hot, nice breeze. Sorry to hear (a) about your washing machine and (b) that you intend to reduce your time here. Of course, I can find you on OFF ......

Hope you have a really lovely holiday.

Not very much going on here today. We are making a big effort to up MIL's water intake. It could be that a certain amount of her confusion (and hygiene problems) could be due to a low grade urinary infection. I had heard about this before, but she was particularly bad on Tuesday and it seems that only a reasonably small increase in her water intake yesterday has made her quite a lot better. Please keep your fingers crossed for more progress!

Waiting atm for a man to call to give us a quote for some double glazing repairs, otherwise time will be spent playing with Pip and Kizzy and perhaps doing a bit of housework!!!

I was so glad that we had the return of the QUIZ last night - I had missed my Wednesday evening quiz time. Thanks to dandysmom for some excellent Qs and to Kado for joining us for the first time (?), Yola and Calismum for playing. I am quizmistress next Wednesday .......... so may do some Q hunting ......

Chat later. Have a great day all.

Re: Thursday daily

Beautiful day here also, just one or two tiny fluffy clouds in the sky. Hope it holds out for the weekend as we've decided to pop down to Devon on Saturday with my daughter and her family as a birthday treat for Katie who will be 9 on Sunday .....where have the years gone, it's frightening!

Sorry to hear about your washing machine DM, that was bad timing just as you're going away...
Have a great holiday, hope you manage to find time to post your pics when you get back...

Hope the sun is shining on everyone...

Well, genuinely not much to report! It's warm here but with a light cloud covering. I'm in the office and really looking forward to having tomorrow off with Sebi (who slept 13 hours last night . . . tired bunny)!!

Re: Thursday daily

Hi, peeps. Sun here now, but rain (again!) predicted for afternoon and night, maybe lingering thru Friday morning. Yuk. A tad chillier than it should be, only 17 degrees. No errands , did some chores and litterbox cleaning; Madame promptly hopped in to christen it; they always do that... oh, and had a nice surprise this morning; an e-mail from a former work colleague that I'd lost touch with; she found me on F******k!

DM, sorry about the washer, but it had a good long run. Am a bit saddened by your decision; will miss your humor and level headed responses; que sera sera. As you say, there's always OFF. Angie, hope the water helps with MIL. I too was very happy to have our quiz back and thank those who played. Mags, fingers crossed that it won't be raining in Devon!

Enjoy the day. remember to vote in the Photo Contest!
